Thank you for not being annoying and over the top like some of these beauty box reviewers. I seriously have had to lower the volume and cringe through some of the videos just to listen enough and decide which box I would like to subscribe to. This is a good review as well... I love how much thought you put into your videos. The skip ahead button is super helpful because I LOVE watching your videos but sometimes there's a product that i'm not interested in and the button makes it really easy to just skip ahead without missing the next product. Not a lot of other youtubers do that. Happy New Year :)
I'm so glad you use the button, Katrina. No matter how much I love someone, there are times when I just wish I could skip to the next product. Everyone has different interests and there is no sense wasting time watching something that you're not interested in. I'm so glad you find it helpful! :)

Wow, Jen! Such a lot of work on this, thank you! I subscribed to Scentbird thru you & can't wait to get my first one. I dropped Ipsy & Birchbox-just really wasn't getting good stuff. I have Sample Society & love it. Mostly skin care & I feel I always get way more value especially since they took it to a whole new level. I feel it's the best out there. Been thinking of getting one that's more makeup related & this was really helpful. Looking forward to more smackdowns in the coming year. Love you guys.

Great video! Your reviews are spot on. I've subscribed to most of those boxes over the years and shared the same experiences.
There is a lot of great info here! The only subscription box I've ever done is Julep, which I loved, but stopped because I now have TONS of nail polish! :) I really loved getting to see the individual reviews embedded while you were talking about each one. I may try one or two of these, thanks for all the time you invested in this!

My first box of Glossybox had Juliep nail polish and its really fun red glitter with white dots and little tiny red glitter hearts- very fun.

Great run down of subscription boxes. Like always, I love your opinions & descriptions of the products/ boxes you're talking about. This video had to of been a lot of work, thank u for doing it. Very informative. I've had to tone down on my subscriptions but the two I can't get myself to cancel are Ipsy & Boxycharm. Ipsy point system does suck but for $10 a month I'm usually pretty happy & enjoy the makeup bags. Boxycharm oh Boxycharm!! Hands down LOVE it! The products have been awesome not to mention the palettes lately, full size products from Tarina Tarantino, this box is worth the $21. One of my past time favorites u should try is Starlooks Starbox they are their own cosmetic company. Sometimes compared to MAC. They have some great products. I think u would really enjoy them. I had to cancel just so I could get thru what I have. For December they send out a 15 shade eyeshadow palette that's worth $99. Great colors, pigmentation is awesome, I love the quality. Thanks again for this video. You have come a long way with your channel. I hope u & John had an amazing holiday with your family!

I cancelled my Julep because it seemed like my polishes were chipping easily and long dry times now Im wondering if I just got a bad batch... still love your vids thank you so much for being a consistant part of my day like to take 30 mins to just relax and watch beauty videos without kids screaming at me lol have a fun New Years!

LOVED this! Always looking for new subscription boxes... and Boxycharm is by far my fave as well! I was a little disappointed that they overpriced the Revealed palette though.

This was a fun video. I watch all of your videos and I never realized that you got so many beauty boxes. lol Right now I only get Ipsy but I want to try more. I'm thinking I might try Boxycharm and Wantable....maybe Meme box too! I did receive the December QBox because I liked what you had received in one of your boxes, but, nuh uh. Maybe if I had a small child this would have been good, but my baby is 28!!! lol I passed it on to a friend who will be able to use it, so it's not a loss. Hope you do a video like this with your other subscription boxes. Debbie :) Happy New Year!
Thanks for taking the time to go in depth on the subscription boxes you have tried! I am thinking of canceling all, except for boxycharm, for half the year and restarting the rest later on. I really need to start using up what I have received so far. I already canceled Julep. As much as I like nail polish, I didn't feel like I was getting what I paid for. The first two nail polishes I received were amazing, lasting for at least 4 days or longer. Then after that, every nail polish I received only lasted one day if that. They do go on smoothly and dry almost instantly, but the chipping was driving me crazy. I knew for sure I was doing the right thing when I came upon them at TJ Maxx for $3.99. Maybe when I cancel my boxes, I will pick up ScentBird as I am very curious to see if I would enjoy the scents.
dazednconfuzed Hey, girlfriend. If I were to keep only one I'd keep BoxyCharm too. And I'm totally with you on Julep. I think I'm going to start skipping boxes more often. The value just hasn't been there for $25. I was good when it was $20, but $25 is a bit much for how small their polishes are. One trick I just started doing was buffing my nails before applying polish. I'm telling you, it has made SUCH a difference in the lasting power of my polishes. It doesn't feel like it's doing much, but it really does. I got my buffing block at Big Lots for $2. I just signed up for a year of ScentBird. I probably won't be doing monthly reviews of it, but I am SO excited to start getting it! I'm getting Michael Kors next!
I will say though that I am interested in seeing your nail polish collection, so please do share! I will try the buffing technique and I will let you know how it goes. I am just so tempted to get Scentbird! Lucky you! I've heard great things about Michael Kors so enjoy!

Great review! It was a great way to see all the subscriptions and to see if you liked or disliked the same way I felt about the ones I subscribe. I just dropped BB5. I love Boxycharm, Memebox, Birchbox and Ipsy. I got BeautyArmy once (you can choose the samples you get or skip that month with no charge) but the samples offered have been terrible. At least you can skip it but I think I might just drop it all together.

I have tried NCLA nail wraps and fell in love. With minor chipping I covered my toes and nails for about a week! They are super expensive though... I would have to have an event to go to... I got mine in a trade... christmas themed before the holidays :)

Wow...that's a lot of info!!! Julep makes me feel sooo frustrated!!! I have never subscribed...I wanted to but could not justify the cost. I am a nail polish junkie and julep makes it too hard for me to love them because of what they charge and the quantity of product..I would rather splurge on Zoya or an indie. I don't know...maybe I'm too hard on them but now they raised their price...have you tried any indies?? You would love some of the indies out there. I have been extremely happy with Glossybox lately...the value has been crazy. I keep thinking I'm due for a bad box, but I don't want to jinx myself. Thanks for all the work you put into this video!! Also I just subscribed to "Little Lace Box" ... I am so excited. It is $40 a month. It was sold out for a couple months so I waited 3 months to get in.... But I am pumped... the quality of the products look amazing... The theme of my box will be box car... downtown abbey theme!!
For me personally, it seems like I ALWAYS get the same brands/products with BichBox which totally sucks but the point system is awesome, which is why I've stuck with BB for so long

For me I use mostly nail wraps and I find that Avon and Sally Hansons are the best! I've had them stay on for 2 weeks for sure with just even wear on the tips! I have super short nails though so that could be a factor!
Try out Avon Nail wraps if you can, they're really good!

For nail wraps try Incoco and a top coat! Lasted literally 2 weeks for me and I use my hands a lot for washing dishes and work.
