My mom is like that about her garden too! She talks to the grasshoppers and snails that eat her plants. She's the best though and I wouldn't be who I am without her.

So many wonderful boxes! I immediately put the Amazing Truths book on my Goodreads list so that I do not forget the name. I LOVELOVELOVE books like that. It is such a great way to be prepared for deep conversations and show that Christians do not lead a blind faith, but one that is rooted in a foundation of logic and truth.

OMG The Narnia box is everything! And the ship is the Dawn Treader, from the fifth book, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Read the whole series as a kid, and I loved them. They're very important to me.

I recently read The Signature of All Things. It's a long book, goes at a slow pace, and not a huge amount happens. I found it difficult to read but once I finished it, I appreciated it a lot more than I did whilst reading it!

Your mother is adorable. One time one of my mom's coworkers gave her a plant for her birthday and she came home and looked me dead in the eye and said he's gonna die. I didn't know she was talking about the plant till I saw the dead plant and a note saying he died. My mom is not good with plants.

Have you heard of/seen bible journaling? I got into it at the end of last year and it has strengthened my faith SO MUCH! I absolutely love painting in my bible and being in God's word and learning more and more about what God has done. I have so many friends that are doing it who say they "aren't creative" but still create beautiful things in their bibles. There's even some devotionals for bible journalers 💜

I personally am not religious, but am curious about this. So you paint scenes from the Bible?
Not necessarily, but sometimes, yes!! Some people paint a scene based off of a certain scripture (which is what I do most of the time), and some people use hand lettering to write out whichever verse they want. What's great about it, is that there is not set in stone way to do it, and it is all about that person's take from their studies :)
