Hi! Well this is a pretty old video !😊 but I was looking for what was up with Birchbox ...so now I know its another samples box ! I have boxycharm and I'm happy with it !💕💄💋😍 I just cancelled my ipsy subscription ...i like it because they provide neat little eyesha dow's and really its pretty dang good with good products ... I have to tell you that the little makeup bags have changed from what you showed..they're smaller and look cheap.sometimes they're cute but not very often...but I can buy past bags with whatever they filled with the products that were given that month! The bigger ones( they have 3 to choose from) comes in a bag! Literally! I bought the Halloween one for my best friend& one for myself! It was a really nice one! Anyways thanks for letting me know about Birchbox..I don't think id be happy with it! If anything id get ipsy again because I like their products even if they are samples! They have options that cost more where you get full items...but i figured since boxycharm sells their products on sale at the beginning of the month " drop shop" !!😊🙋 check it out! 2for1 & such good prices!! So instead of getting ipsy again...@$15 a month now...id rather spend that on boxycharm products!!😆💖 so sorry to go on and on...Im just covering all the bases! Never heard of "fabfitfun" it looks cool but im sticking with boxycharm! Its $25.00 a month for a "base box" you get to pick one full size item & they DO have a questionnaire of your preferences& ask about your skin , eye color, and what colors in everything you prefer..and I've noticed that they're paying attention to my 'chart'!!' Ok so I'll ' but a lid on it!!😜🤗😂 and wish you a very Happy Holidays!!🎅🤶🎄🎁🎀⛄❄🦃💋💄💅💕🙋 Take care & Blessed be...🖤with🖤from New Mexico and So.California( born and raised in Cali' !! ) but moved here 4 years ago & its pretty cool...alot more affordable! I love FabFitFun!! It the most customizable box on the market, so I end up loving almost every product! Did you end up subscribing?
So far I am waiting for my 3rd box from Boxycharm and I am loving it. I am thinking of getting rid of my glossy box which is the same charge but there are way too many not so good boxes and I have been getting this one for almost 2 years. I get Birchbox and Ipsy also and thinking I might get rid of them. Yeah the sizes are sometimes so tiny and I get the same type of products each month that I don't want.
+Rindy Germano You are a committed Beauty box subscriber! I've never had GlossyBox, but I feel like all the hype BoxyCharm gets over GlossyBox is pretty telling about which one is better. I feel like committing to one solid box is easier on the wallet too!
Ah Birchbox! I was subscribed since 2013 and finally cancelled because every month was feeling like a hot mess of samples (sometimes damaged, weird colors, exact repeats, or annoying foil packets). Basically, I just wasn't excited to receive my box anymore and for $10, that's not what you want. I'd recommend trying the Sephora box, too- I've been subbed for a year now and love it. $10 and all the brands are carried at Sephora and I've gotten newly released products to try out and very on trend items, too! Plus every month you get bonus 50 points you can add to your Sephora account.
Also, I totally want to try the FabFitFun box after your review!

Yep!! Full disclosure, you have to take the "50 point" card into an actual Sephora to redeem it but I find myself in a Sephora store at least once a month anyway, so it's not too inconvenient haha
Awww man! I love to use Ebates when shopping online at Sephora. But if they're giving me 50 points for the price of 10, I'll take it in any form they want to give it to me. Thank you so much for the tips. Keep them rolling!!
Excellent review. Thank you so much. I entirely agree that FFF is the best, based solely on reviews I've seen. Paying $10 for samples is a waste. If you pay $20 a month for 3 months, then you have paid more than you would for the quarterly FFF even if you don't get a year's subscription.

This or That you can retroactively take the test just sign into your boxycharm and you can update your preferences!! You can even do it if you're like me and pale in winter.

I'm actually getting my first Causebox this year! Since this was filmed about 2 years ago, I hadn't heard of it at the time!
Im not a contour person but I received the IBY contour palette and I been using the Highlight to give a glow after my foundation (setting powder) very lightly, then use the darker shade to tone down the Highlight very lightly. Its true I would never used any of the funky tools or different palette other then eyeshadow but, yed it does take you out of your comfort zone.
+Patty Hernandez I'm glad you agree! The subscription boxes really force you to get creative and spice up your routine. Have you been loving that foundation brush? I never thought I'd give into that crazy thing, but I love it! That and the fluffy contour/bronzer brush!

Fit fab fun was soooooo redundantl - dry shampoo, contour powder and colors that only clowns would wear. After subscribing for 18 months the last box was a pathetic joke a tiny “purse” to keep your credit card in that was more suitable for a toddler and more dry shampoo and contour powder. Dumped it for the Cause Box, which is soooo much better and useful.

I feel the same about the Balm samples they send out. I get it that it is an expensive brand, but the packaging of those samples is impossible to work with and it seems like they ALWAYS push those on us! Luckily you can uncheck the brand in the survey.
+Stephanie Angela Right?! So glad I'm not the only one! The problem is that I can't bring myself to uncheck it, because I think The Balm has the most creative, clever packaging of any beauty brand ever! I love a good pun, and that company absolutely kills it with their marketing!
This or That I know that's why I haven't unchecked it either. I just with they would offer deluxe samples and send them out less often. I feel like that would make me want to use the product more.

+Michelle Rose I think it depends on the month! We got that great Smashbox primer not too long ago, and I'm always impressed by the brushes. But great idea on mentioning the brands! I'll have to remember for next time!
