this show is everything. I swear it is the best depiction of black love i have EVAH seen filmed. It is as real as it is fairy tale, its just beautiful. And what makes it so beautiful is that it shows our black brothers and sisters that you don't have to look like kerry washington, or sana lathan (insert beautiful black actress you like) or Idris Elba for someone to fall in love with you.

It's slim for us to see positive black love (we see what 5% on TV) in the media. Thank god for Issa Rae, Black & Sexy TV and many other independent black artists making things like this possible. Each time I watch an episode, I say, "This is my fav!" I love the dialogue with Charles and his students. His vulnerability in that moment could be seen as a sign of weakness, yet because of the depth of his character, it was priceless. He will have more opportunities to pour into those young men on that topic.
