Worse Cliffhanger in history! The suspense.. The emotion.. The grit.. Ugh! I hate you guys! But.. I respect it! lol.. You can't squeeze and push everything all into one episode. I knew that this was going to be a healthy portion for me, this is a 30 minute episode.. Took a couple notes just to make sure I didn't miss anything..
Overall.. Yall are dropping hella knowledge. Educating virally, and conjuring up the entire element of love, infatuation, and devotion. All without nudity, without tongue, and without.. and cheap signs of affection. All authentic, old school, religious, and eye watering things that our mothers, grandmothers, fathers, uncles, and cousins tell stories about, and you think about when you look through family photo albums.
Respect..Admiration.. Consideration are all words that come to mind when Charlie visited Robin's Pops. To hear his blessing, no threats, and to really know that look that you have when you glaze over everytime you see something you love? Priceless.. Beautiful.. Something that is a HIGH misplaced token of past African American society. Not only is Charlie real, Brock and his new found admiration in "Swahili" is breathtaking. Rushing.. Waiting until you have a quiet moment, where you're unbothered to actually read a HANDWRITTEN LETTER... Not TYPED, E-MAILED, Or Texted? Absolutely Old School, breathtaking... Yet Real.. She's MELTING HIM.. Another breaker.. It's usually the guy really trying to get in good. Brock.. Follow your heart, and go to Swahili. She's laying all her cards on the table, go visit. I understand that's a trip to the other side of the world, but... "Love will make you do some CRAZY THINGS (Witness testifying right here), but FEAR will make you do some STUPID THINGS"...
FIRST times are incredibly scary,
You don't want to do anything wrong,
Wanting everything to be perfect, just right... But.. Often times, we forget to be human and learn from whatever is happening in that moment. Just... Do it. You've researched it enough, make the move.. It's ok. RELEASE your inhibitions.. And be Free. Beauty transcends the pre conceived physical things that are associative with love, your hair, clothes, makeup, money... NONE of things have to be done, clean, flawless, or overflowing! It's all about the way you are.. Kinda like.. the IDEAL RELIGIOUS experience.. "Come As You Are".. MUSIC?! Yall need to be SLAPPED.. Seriously.. This episodes soundtrack was crazy. Everything matched each segment, kaleidoscope, visual that was placed. I can never pick a favorite, but always lust to get to the end of the episode to track who I DON'T know, and smile.. At who I already know. It's no different with this episode. I gotta stop. Thanks again for the continued inspiration!
I loved this episode! Charlie really thinks a lot. I wish he would've iust proposed to her. The ending... and how he kept chasing the car, too much THINKING. Lol He should've done it (proposed to her). This hands down captures every emotion for me. I loved the handwritten letter as well. This show gives me HOPE. It really is written so well. For the last 3 years I periodically come back to rewatch this series 💯💪🏾! This was untouchable for me , 1 of my absolute favorite web series 💪🏾💯🤪! From the writing to the actors/actresses everything this was amazing 🙌🏾🙌🏾! I’ve came up with my own ending in my head robin got to the airport and changed her mind and returned back home ,( or she stayed out of town for a week called Charlie and couldn’t bare living far away and they Skyped but Charlie didn’t know she was at the airport on the way home )Charlie wasn’t expecting her to come back then he proposed , she said yes Charlie said you know why wait 🤪she said huh he said why wait let’s just do it now and she says but Charlie I want my family there he says robin I already told you I’m not going anywhere ( remember what he said while they were eating at the table when he was going to propose but the phone rang and he put the ring back in his pocket 😫)and If I can help it i don’t want to wait another minute to call you my wife he said ,I lost you once you went to college , You left to fulfill your dreams this time and baby I support you to the fullest and i promise you I’m here for life and thank the lord your here right now and I’m very very grateful and as a tear drops from his eye and they are forehead to forehead eye to eye , and he takes her by the hand and says there won’t be a 3rd time if I can help it ,I need you with my last name I don’t wanna wait any longer 🤪and she said okay let’s do it 💪🏾but he promised her the dream wedding she always wanted but he loves her so much he wanted her as his wife as soon as possible and he told her I already have your fathers permission 🤪he tells her how he went and asked him and he approved Charlie said I’ll call him she said he doesn’t know I’m back yet she kissed him and said I trust you he said enough to marry me right now she looked him in his eyes and yes 🤪! and they eloped the same day ! Then later she got a bomb offer and Charlie got his program and started his own business and robins mom and dad got back together because they were upset they eloped but while they broke the news to both sets of parents robins mom and dad realized nothing can separate true love ! Charlie’s brother had another baby and the mom is still hanging in there because it’s so many amazing things happening she’s refusing to give up 💪🏾💯! Charlie’s friend and ole girl didn’t make it (the one he was booking the flight to go see )but he just so happens to meet a nice young woman on a accident while teaching a poetry class and one of his students car was in the shop she had her cousin drop her off , the cousin got out the car and told her cousin I’ll cash app you gas money ,but for some reason she had to go in told her cousin I’ll text you when I’m inside ,( the driver the cousin ( who didn’t want to come )she came in because she tried to call her cousin to see when she wanted to be picked up and got no response to make sure it was okay to leave and the cousins phone ( his student ) phone was dead 😫she hadn’t plugged it up to her portable charger yet 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️so the 2 met that way and they hit it off 💪🏾🤪and Nikki didn’t end up getting married he flaked on her at the last minute ,( this can be a possibility but she tries to come to Charlie in a loving way to try to persuade him and remind him of what they used to have because she feels that she and her ex fiancé didn’t make it because of what she did to Charlie when she left out of town and got engaged to her ex fiancé,you reap what you sew 🤷🏾♀️but Charlie shut her down in the most respectful way possible and told Nikki that robin is the one and always has been and he finally told her the flowers were for robin when they were younger ,and robin is his soulmate and there is no one else and he has it right this time and he’s not risking or messing up his marriage up for anyone 🙅🏾♀️the past is the past and he forgave her that’s why the lord gave him another chance with robin )and robins best friend moved closer to robin to help her with her book writing and Charlie’s business and program for the kids ,robin started helping Charlie’s children in his program by teaching them how to write their own books and his friend taught them poetry and robins friend taught them investing and history and financing classes , it became an amazing program to keep the kids out of trouble while teaching them skills to be successful ! This is a stellar series. The acting is committed and the creativity is stunning. The writing is sophisticated. This reminds me of that 90s love y'all. This show answers so many of my own prayers. I'm in this situation right now as we watch and it gives me directions. The way Charlie treats Robbie places me in check and corrects my own actions. I had to stop this episode and take a breathe because I was holding mine the whole time. I'm in love, bruh. We have to support the production of this show!

I miss this series so much!! I really wish there was a few more seasons to see Charlie and Robin's relationship, as well as, her friend's wedding, and the poet's relationship with the woman he met on the dating app.
As a intermediate photographer and videographer, this series was shot beautifully!! All of the music was high quality and fit into the scenes perfectly. This series was and still is high quality, Black love content. Thank you for introducing several talented artists to my musical palette. 💜💜💃🏾💃🏾

So I just started watching this series LAST NIGHT and have just finished. This show was/is AMAZING never have I ever felt represented so gracefully by a cast of color. So happy to see love between two black people portrayed so beautifully. I like to write and create scripts and stories this was so inspirational for me, I may just start writing again.The music for EACH episode was just lovely and it worked perfectly for each moment. Ok so I first saw this in 2019 and my 2nd time watching this in 2021. It still has my heart pounding in every episode. Makes me feel like the fresh young love feeling. I love, love omg 😍. This whole series was about pure love and being vulnerable. Love is so healing and nuturing! I love the way he looks at her, how he let her know I aint going no where. I love how they are so in love with each other. We dont see love like this a lot or even hear about it but it does exist! Im soo in love with this series😍. It physically had my heart pounding, smiling and cheesing like charlie was talking to me 😂. Listen it's 2021 and Im asking for season 3 damnit!! Cant leave the ppl hanging like that!!

Okay there were definitely multiple tear moments, but I absolutely loved the brother's story about proposing. So many people get wrapped up in grand gestures and all the bullcrap that comes with marriage and it's really all about knowing, in that moment, that is the person you want to tolerate for life. Love this realness of this series and yes I did yell at Charlie at the end. hahaha.
DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!! Y'all didn't have to do me like this smh lol...But overall this episode was everything. The love between Charlie & Robin is so real that next season I think they're moving to NY. I think it's time for a First Movie!!! #Firstisthebest :-D

You know this series is too GOOD when you start tearing up because the actress is crying. When she broke down at the stove I almost lost it in my office as if I was right there with her. I think my heart almost beat right out of my chest at the end. I just knew he was about to propose. I definitely will be supporting. I can't can't get enough!! Just EXCELLENT!!!! Can't wait for Season 3!!!
