    An absolute great video I chanced upon and giving good tips. I have a question. We are a grp of photographers and intend to visit Deadvlei. One of our interest is astro photography, ie shooting star trails and milkway using the trees as back drop. In your video also shown a segment of star galzing. How is it possible to stay for the night (some star trails may take 3 hrs or more) since the 2nd gate closes ard 8pm if we understand correctly. Any idea are we allowed to stay inside?
    If you can elaborate how the two gates operate that will be very helpful. I learned that it is best to stay in the camp site that is after gate 1. Only then we can roam around freely in the night. But then there is gate 2. Is it always open so we can go into the dead pan in the night? Its quite confusing in some of the youtubes.
    TQ

    What are the food options inside the park? (I mean near the gate, of course deep inside the dunes there won’t be anything obviously)
    And do you know if you can, for example, leave the park, put fuel in your car or eat at that petrol station you showed at 2:15, and then come back to the park for sunset with the same entrance fee? Do you have to pay again? Do you know how that works?
    Great video as always

      They have a basic restaurant at the NWR reception I showed and a restaurant at the Sossusvlei lodge. At the garage they have pies and sandwiches. Probably more once covid is over. Yes, you can exit and re-enter as many times as you want. The park fees cover the whole day

    Fantastiese videos in jou reeks, dankie. Ons is oor n week by Sossusvlei. Ons bly by Sossus Oasis vir een nag en daarna by Rostock Ritz. Hoe sal jy voorstel om tyd optimaal by Sossus te spandeer, gegewe dat ons rondom 12 uur daar aankom en weer ry due volgende dag.

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  2 роки тому

      Ry dan maar direk Sossusvlei toe. Gaan bietjie warm wees so op die middag. Die wind hou ook daarvan om op te tel namiddag. Doen dalk middag ete by Sossusvlei, daarna die stap na Dooievlei en op die pad terug kan julle by Duin 45 stop en/of Elim duin stop. Die mense doen gewoonlik sunset by Elim
