  • Judy Garland is remembered as one of Hollywood's greatest entertainers. In 1939, 17-year-old Garland starred in MGM's "The Wizard of Oz," the movie that made her a household name. Over the next decade, Garland starred in a number of MGM productions before being fired in 1950. Garland's personal life included five marriages, a slew of successful comebacks and a few near-death experiences. This is an old vhs copy. Some people are complaining (Karens) about the quality. If you only have negative comments then don’t comment. Judy doesn’t deserve it. She put up with enough negative people in her life time. Let’s just celebrate her and the beauty she gave us. Please respect her memory.

The drugs truly aged her, she looked like she was 67 and not 47 when she died

Let’s forget about her many heartaches and try to remember her incredible accomplishments and greatness that can only be achieved by Judy Garland.

I remember watching this back in 2001 when it premiered on E! To this day, other than Me and My Shadows, this is the best bio documentary on Garland to have ever been done.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes I'm the same age.
If anything I respect Judy Garland's humanity...... I wonder if she ever knew how deeply loved she really was by everybody...... Just like Elvis Presley Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin....... She seems mystically connected to some higher beneficent power.... God bless you Miss Judy❤!

When I hear "Over The Rainbow" with Judy Garland, you can feel the emotion in the song, it touches you really deep. No other entertainer can do the same if they sang that song, not even Rufus Wainwright, not Ella Fitzgerald, not even pop artist of today. The song belongs to Judy.

Whenever I think of Judy two things come to mind. One: Thank you Judy for sharing your talent, your openness, your love for your audience by performing day and night. I know she loved performing but she didn’t have to do it. Many would’ve said “ that’s it , I’m not giving any more and settle for a quiet life away from the insanity of the money grubberes who use artists . Many artists even today are used and have made more money than the artists themselves with unfair contracts in the small print. Two: I remember something Kay Thompson told Liza when Judy died at the funeral ( she wasn’t a speaker at the funeral and was Liza’s hid daughter) . She told Liza “ The one thing Judy loved besides her three wonderful children was being Judy Garland the performer. The middle of the road was never appealing to her . Being a Housewife in Nebraska , the thought of that bored her.She loved being Judy Garland !

She also was taken advantage of by agents husband as well.
Hollywood made millions b off of her her husbandvreally blew her money away and she wasn't protected by them not paying her taxes. Very very sad. But we must remember her as the celebrity she was. Years of pressure would have made any one mad. 😮‍💨

Rejection that scars a soul begins in the womb. Opens the door to demons to torture the person all their life unless one gets a soul healing deliverance, which is rare. Rejection is the enemy spirit of humanity and we ( sometimes ) cause it on others too,,,,even if not trying to with evil intent, ,,,its evil.
