Goggins and Jackson are the best odd couple of a generation. The whole movie they take shots at each other but don't hate each other and by the end, even though they know they will likely die from their wounds, they respect one another on a level most never can comprehend.

My favourite part about this movie is the respect those two had for each other despite also having a bit of a disdain for each other due to past allegiances
I certainly think the point they were going for is that Ramza was at peace with himself even though he was lost to history whereas Delita got everything he wanted but ended up completely alienated. The overarching theme is that you can’t control the world around you and a lot of the time you’ll get totally screwed through no fault of your own but, giving in to vengeance and hate will take you to a whole other level of misery.
This music doesn't make this scene anymore dramatic tbh , nothing violent in a Tarantino movie can no longer be shocking , its just funny at this point!!!! His dialogue on the other hand is still sharp & deadly as ever👍
