- Arma 3 Old Man Gameplay is coming your way as I am going to play through the new mini-campaign that Bohemia Interactive has put out recently for Arma 3 Apex DLC.
In Arma III old man, we play in an open world scenario as a guy named Santiago or "The Legionnaire" which stems from his time in the French Foreign Legion. We will have a series of missions that we will need to complete in each episode as we expand the story and take on CSAT while we work civilians and guerrillas during a sickness on the island of tanoa.

Oh dude, as a french, this was ... strange but cool ^^ The acting could be improved, but the accent is PER-FECT x) The parts in french are also quite cool, like well writen, and a french guy could totally say that ! It changes from other (non french) games where french people are pictured

The premise reminds me of BIs roots, the original Arma (Operation Flash Point: Cold War Crisis) had a expansion that dealt with a former SAS member, joining a resistance group after his homeland is occupied.
I never played arma back that far. That's cool to know!

Wooow! Nice graphics!
Just started this and Wow!
Had initial problems with a black screen, but saving game and reloading the save fixed it.
Got home for the night and a massive firefight took place behind the house.
Spent the whole night looting the bodies and bagged me a police van and a CSAT jeep with a mini gun on top.
Looking forward to what comes next.
I hope for more scenarios that play like Old Man

I also like this way of playing, trying to get as much as realism in the gameplay. Once I was bored and I started a new game in old man and tried to raid the CSAT base in the beginning of the game. There's a way you can do it pretty easy. Kill the gendarmerie that is alone on the road by the sea, get his gun, move through the buildings and slowly kill the soldiers. You will notice that after some time they will send a Kajman to kill you, so you have to hide untill he leaves. It's fun to do this to get more skill with gunfights.

tip: im not sure if the cache locations are different in every game but in mine theres a big cache with an lmg at a rock formation marked with a triangle on the map near vagalala

2:10 when I first spawned in I sprinted through the camp to the humvee and took off with it while getting shot at and hid in the forest then went back for the ural and did the same thing and got away with both of them. XD The enemies are stupid not locking their vehicles.

Lol if you have a pc that runs the game at 8fps and can’t render the enemies fast enough like me then you’ve got the advantage. 😂
Legionnaire just bought Arma 3 and looking through video to see what to expect. Probably not going to do any online stuff because of my skill at the game and my constant antisocial behavior, so if anyone has advice (Mostly for replayability) that'd be great :)

I found a pistol and ammo in the building with the open door by the shed with the c4 but I was looking around and died in there close to the plant, not sure why. Also I got first aid kits from the IDAP guy by the side of the road and in the town turning up to Arthur’s house

The buttons sometimes break, and shift one position. You will find the message log under the button right of it.
