Important clarification: "After the last search card in a non-zombie player's hand is revealed, the non-zombie players get one more action each. So the last player turns don't happen after the last card is taken from the deck, but the turn after everyone's last search cards have been revealed"
So, to be clear, in a 2 player game vs 1 Zombie game this means that the Zombie player would add their last search card to player B. Player A would go, reveal their last search the room card, then Player B would go and reveal their search the room card. Then would the game end or would both players get an additional turn?
Another excellent video! I don't think I would have been able to grok the movement rules otherwise. Just "lost" my first test run game, a 2 hand game just to learn the rules. Was very fun, but was bummed I lost by 1 round per player, it was that close. Turns out I made this exact mistake, missed the last round per player. I didn't read this comment until I packed it up and then came back here to comment.
Rodney, I cannot appreciate your videos enough. You are very descriptive, clear and concise, and are non-opinionated in your videos, allowing the players to choose how they feel about the game without being biased by the opinion of another. I was hoping to meet you at PAX Unplugged last year, but was unable to find you and shake your hand. I hope I can this year. This comment is not just to praise you, but it is also to ask a question. I remember that you used to have a video where you showed the 'behind-the-scene' layout of your studio, the equipment you used, interview questions for you and your kids, etc. I was wondering what equipment you currently use, in case it had changed. Your quality seems better than before. I plan on creating instructional videos for my favorite mechanic of game (deck-building), and I already have the games, but I am new to creating videos. I would love your input, or, another 'behind- the-scenes' video, as a way for myself to get ideas on what to use. Please keep being amazing and informative!
Hey Ryan, thanks for the kind words and sorry we didn't get to meetup at PAX. No PAX for me this year, I'm afraid. A little too much work and other travel for the show. Maybe next year! I use a Lumix GH5, two soft box lights and Sennheiser lav mics, but honestly, that's more than most would need to make really good looking videos. There are cheaper options when yo're just getting started (like what I began with) that can still get the job done and produce good results. All the best with your own tutorials!
I really appreciate these videos because they make so much easier to understand the rules, even when the rules are written well. Thank you for making them.
I'm glad you did these videos. I picked up Tiny Epic Mechs, Quest and zombies. I"m always surprised how complicated each game seems to be vs how small the box is, but you made it simple. Thank you.
Thanks for another great tutorial! I backed this and getting very excited for it to be here. Now I can share this video with my group so we can all be ready. Thanks for all you do!
I am starting to collect Tiny Epic games! Thanks a lot for the easy playthrough. I always watch your videos about board games to check if I'd prefer to buy one or naaaah. ☺️
good base system. could use to design a Tiny Epic Hogwarts between 1 player voldemort and students 2-5 players. characters combat in rooms with dementors and deatheaters and do harry potter things to complete scenarios / win game.
Rodney, you didn't talk about the Police Car/Motorbike other than when they are placed in the setup. I guess they are just like some of the items you discussed, but would have been nice to see specific examples of their use.
These, like the traps, are elements that are activated by specific room effects, and I chose not to cover all the various room actions - so as not to draw out the length of the tutorial - but I can appreciate your curiosity! :)
Steve is right, and the motorcycle always goes back to the room it started in. I believe the police car let’s you immediately move to a room up to 3 stores away, then it stays in that room until it is used again. Hope that helps.
The one thing I found confusing about the police car is rather the action actually counts as a move, and therefore a fight can take place. For example. On my first move I move into the police car room, I do a ranged attack on to an adjacent card. Then I "interact" with the room, which is to use the police car to allow me to go to an entrance up to 3 away... Now the entrance I land in already has a zombie in it.... But remember, the interaction was the "end" if my turn... So in theory I can't fight because I'm not "moving" into a room where my next action can be a fight... On the other hand, I'm not "overrun" because the zombie wasn't PLACED in my room, "I" was placed in the room... This would imply that "nothing" happens and for my next move I would move to an adjacent room and carry on... But this just seems "disjointed" to me since it seems to conflict with the normal "flow" of everything else...
This has been clarified by Michael Coe on BGG, if you use the Police Car and it puts you in an entrance room that has a zombie in it, you fight the zombie. To build on your example: You move into the room with the Police Car and melee kill the zombie there. That clears the store, so you interact with the Police Car. You immediately go to the entrance room of a store two stores away and there is a zombie in that room. You roll the melee die and kill that zombie. So you do get to kill two zombies in one move. If that was your third move you do the search phase and your turn is over. If that was only your first or second move, continue on. Hope that helps!
Very helpful explanation (as usual) - thanks! Once I receive the game I will rewatch it a few more times - the video has a very high information density :)
Steve Fratus I became so excited about Tiny Epic Mechs until I learned it’s a 2-4 player game. I don’t have many people to play with and I like Tiny Epic games since I can play them alone. But the components are so beautiful that I might have to buy it and come up with my own solo variant. I wonder how hard that would be...
Hi Rodney! A few questions about the game for you to answer, if you don’t mind, that would be great. We just bought and played one cooperative vs AI, two of us. 1. How many items can you “carry” on your card? Eg. If I have a supply box can I also carry the radio. 2. Secret Passage is a room ability so it would not count as a move? Eg. My last move I save until I move through the secret passage and then take the final move. 3. When you get a free ranged attack does that mean you spend no ammo? I had the golf club but it was a melee weapon that was a free range attack. Did I misunderstand that card? 4. After you move and kill a zombie, if I am able to pick up multiple tokens may I do so? Or is it Move then kill zombie, pick 1 token, and use room ability? You do. FANTASTIC job with your videos and I know sometimes with separate modes of gameplay stuff won’t always be covered, but we tried looking for more clarity on rules and all that. It seems a frustration of many people who play this game is they are not sure of some steps or rules. It definitely has a lot to this game. My first game was Tiny Epic Galaxies, from the series, and that one was easy enough to grasp and pretty clear. Thank you in advance for any help you’re able to provide me with. Have a great day!
Hey Ayla, unfortunately, I can't get into details on specif card effects or modes of play I didn't cover. It's just more than I can manage as one person across all the games I feature. That said, as question 4 is a rule around general game play, I can answer that. You can pick up multiple tokens that you would have access to. The other questions, you may find easiest to go directly to the publisher for.
Wow, I guess TEZ is now an evergreen game, as I just picked up a new copy 3 years after this vid was posted. And damn did I need this vid. I tried laying it out, but there too much complexity for me to grok. those A.B,C, decks confused the heck outta me before seeing this.
I feel we need a full co-op rules video. We are getting mixed up on move then actions. We ran out of zombies after the first players turn and lost a barricade.
No plans to cover the co-op rules currently - hope you can get some assistance with any challenges you're having though. You might find the rules forums on BGG for the game can provide some help: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/244536/tiny-epic-zombies/forums/66
Hi Rodney. Enjoy your both of your channels. FYI. I am not a professional audio engineer but I know enough to hear the intro music is overly compressed and its audio level at some point was pushed too high into distortion. I believe this began with the "Tiny Epic Zombies - How To Play" video last August.
I don't hear what you're hearing, but I do know that due to a problem I had with Premiere crashing, I had to change the way I was compressing audio levels in my timeline. That might have had something to do with it. The levels for the intro are different, but I'm not hearing distortion. Again, tough to know what one person is hearing versus another with different speaker setups, ears, etc. This is a case where I might actually require an audio engineer to come in and fine tune, to really know.
Question about movements, since you MUST move 3 times. Can you move in a room, attack a zombie, move another time, kill another zombie, move again and interact with an objective? Or does attacking/interacting with a room count as a movement?
Each of the 3 moves are interrupted by the other actions you can then take. For example: You move to an adjacent room, then kill and do interactions with the room/tokens. Then move again and kill and do interactions with the room/tokens and move again and kill and do interactions with the room/tokens. Just remember all 3 rooms of a mall section must be empty of zombies to interact with the rooms or tokens in ANY of its rooms.
3 questions: - when i need to bring something to center as objective do i need to reach center room of cortyard or side rooms in cortyard are enough? Including army tokens. - what mean for army token that they can kill zombie when bypass zombie? Can i anyhow kill zombie in room where army starts move? - when army moves can i still activate room, pick up items in meepel room? So it would allow to activate room without moving.
I do my best to answer all rules questions on the games I cover, but I avoid individual card effects, as that's a level of detail beyond what I can manage across all the videos I do. I'd suggest checking the rules forum for the game on BoardGameGeek or the publishers website. I hope you can find your answer there - have fun playing!
Only problem with the tiny epic games. It's the size of the components. I get what they are trying to do, but man, their games are fun and I would really play them more if I wasn't worried about components going missing with a simple bump of the table.
I have all their tiny epic games and this hasn’t really been a problem, but I did share your concern initially. Also, recently I bought some of their playmats and they are made to a high quality, preventing this potential problem even more. Or just get Heroes of Land, Air and Sea and enjoy a full sized game. ;)
As someone who travels a lot, I disagree. I love that the Tiny Epic games are perfect travel games (As are Oink Games)! It's amazing how big of a game they are able to pack into such a small box, and Tiny Epic Zombies is no different. I just got mine the other day, and it is glorious! Beautiful pieces, super-fun gameplay, and again, a whole lot of bang for your dollar.
Hi - love your videos but can you please clarify a few rules: When the search card that is on the player board is revealed - if that player is in the courtyard who decides which of 4 adjacent stores it goes into? I assume since it features in the ‘human player turn’ part of the rules it is the human player? Linked to the first question - if the search card revealed by the player while in the courtyard is the zombie event, where does the zombie go? Does it also go in one of the 4 adjacent stores (and if so, who decides where?) or does it go in the courtyard (but of course rather than place a zombie, drop the barricade?) Exchanging items between human players - the rules seem pretty clear that you can only exchange items by dropping them and the other player picking them up - this is fine (although strange as you would think if you are in the same room you can just pass between players) BUT if you read the ‘call the CDC’ objective it says the radio can be passed between players - I assume this is because it has a little round token? So that leads me to ask about the 2 crates - do you have to drop and pick up, or can you pass?
Hey Matt - these are excellent questions, and unfortunately the rule book does not address them. I wish I could help, but in this case, I think you might need to check with the publisher or post on BoardGameGeek.
Search card in the courtyard goes in one of the 4 shops, active player decides The zombie event in the courtyard destroys 1 barricade..no zombie placed Exchange rules, you are right. You have to drop them and another player has to pick it up in their turn..no exchange, even if you are in the same room. Illogical for a reallife situation, just to balance the game. On the crates, same i guess. Drop it in a room and leave it for someone to pick up. (Manual unclear on this..i handle it as an item) The radio token for the CDC is one (if not the only) Item, that can be dropped/given/taken from player to player in the same room (permission needed) Whats also not clear in the rulebook..can 1 person carry 2 crates?
I avoid explaining individual card effects (too many rules for me to manage across all games), but you'll find them explained on the store card that uses them.
Hey Rodney, I have a quastion. After I move I have 3 options: A: Kill a zombie B :Interact with tokens and/or Use rooms ability C: Collect items. So I have to deside witch one i'd like to do or I can do all freeactions after one move? Thanks for your answer. Greetings from Hungary! :)
Rules state: "You MUST move 3 times. Each Move could potentially consist of the following actions..." Does this mean you can move to one space and kill a zombie, move to the second space and use the room's ability then move to the third space and collect items? Or do you have to move all three spaces before doing anything?
In the german version for actions it says "use room ability OR interact with a token" ...not AND/OR. Is that a mistake or a change in rules? Im pretty confused watching people play..some even interact with several tokens in the room in the same move. Hope someone can clarify. For me its "Make a move, kill a zombie, (if the shop is clear) either use a token OR use the room ability"..and only one token per move. Please help?
I can't really assist with possible translations contradictions. What we show here is how it plays in the English rules, and we worked with the English publisher to confirm the contents of it, so I think you can feel safe with what we have here.
Hello. Is there any chance to make a tutorial video of one of the following games? Thank you for your videos... 1.Network 2.Agra 3.Uboot 4.London Dread 5.Cavern Tavern 6.This war of mine
what if the search phase is done at the courtyard? In terms of the matching of the symbols, how would I know how many zombies should spawn? and in which rooms?
It doesn't seem like the Zombie player has a whole lot of input, which is discouraging. The zombie actions seem pretty autonomous (or mindless, if you will), just some bookkeeping. Maybe I missed something. Great video, though.
Zero Bad Ideas I want to say Never Bored Gaming covered that in their video preview. The short version in their opinion was while it looks simplistic and boring on paper, it’s very fun in execution. I’m curious to try the zombie role out and can get back to you on it with my thoughts if you want. I know I also plan to play the zombie role when I am teaching people the game to act as a sort of game master.
I have a question: When I use the axe for an attack and roll the dice, does gray turn green and give me extra movement, or does green turn gray and does it mean nothing happens if I roll green? Thank you very much
Hey Andres, while I do my best to answer all rules questions, I avoid individual cars effects and interactions. I cover too many games to go to that level of detail. However, you can often find answers to questions like this over on BoardGameGeek. Hope that helps a little!
What is the courtyard? Is the entire central card with all the rooms considered the courtyard or just the central room of the central card? For example, if need to drop off weapons to the courtyard, can I go to any room in the courtyard, or just the central room?
Good question! I had to do a little digging, but here's the answer from the publisher: When delivering something to the Courtyard, you need to bring it to the central room on the card. When Zombies attack the Courtyard, they only have to reach one of the outer areas on the card.
So at 9:40, if a zombie were in the top room (room 3/sport), I could kill it from the current location because the rooms are separated by a wall on the right and I could shoot through it? Or can you shoot through two rooms?
You could shoot that top room, because only 1 wall separates the room you are in and the target zombie (if you go by the wall closer to the top of the card).
@@WatchItPlayed I just read the english rulebook and found some differences compared to the german rules. For instance the "Note: the courtyard has 5 rooms" was deleted. Its not a big deal but maybe for some people the reason to not fully appreciate the game. I do it...now :)
I’m a long time fan of the show, but it has changed so much that you should change the title to “How it’s Played.” The majority of your videos just don’t hold up to the name and concept as they once did, and I suppose I miss the “old days” of WIP. I still wish you guys the best and hope that someday you will again focus more on gameplay as opposed to mere setup and instruction book walkthroughs!
You'll be pleased to know that two days ago we posted a game play video: ua-cam.com/video/unIaaMwQGKE/v-deo.html The show has ebbs and flows in the game play content, but we won't be changing the title - glad you enjoy the game play content though! More on the way this week.
So quick clarification that I couldn’t seem to find. On the teacher, it says you can spend an Anmo to peek at any facedown search deck... which do those count as?
Sorry I can't help with that - I avoid getting into specific card effects (too much for me to manage across all my videos as just one person). You might want to try with the publisher, or post on the boardgamegeek forums.
My (german) rulebook says you can look at any search card (in game) openly to "predict" the future...but thats only usefull, depending on the number of players
I haven't played every mode, but more importantly, I avoid reviewing or recommending on this channel, as it would be hard for me to say what would be better for each person, as each viewer will have their own likes and dislikes about styles of play.
Help! I met a case where I played the zombie and got to force an overrun player back into the courtyard. That player was carrying a supply token. Does this immediately trigger the supply token, or would the player have to move out and back into the courtyard to get the supplies exchanged?
Hey Fenryl, sorry, I'm not sure on the answer to that one. You might need to check with the publisher directly, or see if that question has been answered already on BoardGameGeek's forum for the game.
Thanks for your video ) one question: the weapon revolver. It's written "if you overrun, you may spend 1 bullet to kill 1 zombie and not take a wound". What does "overrun" mean?
16:24 During each of their turns, the zombie player puts two zombies in the mall. If they are placed in the same room as a survivor, they are overrun and take one damage,
In setup, I see in the rule said Zombie player keeps the remaining 4 that me in 2 human player vs 1 zombie player, zombie player should discard some card or not?
"After moving into a Room (and killing a Zombie if necessary), and only if the Store is free of Zombies (the Store being defined as all 3 Rooms on the Mall Card), you may then use Room abilities and/or interact with Tokens." - Hope that helps!
Watch It Played the reason I asked is because in the rule book pg.8 it says that u can interact with "A" token which means one token but on pg.11 it says tokens so I'm kinda confused there and the other thing is on the player card it says u can use a room's ability "or" items so my question for that is if I do the room's ability does that mean u can't grab any item card? Since it didn't say and/or
@@Tr1pleOseveN There were some issues with clarity in the rule book - the video contains the information I gathered from the publisher, who also gave final approval before the video was released.
what if there's an item that is already in a store and you then draw again as there is no zombie on the store as well as it is after your 3rd move, does the next flipped card be added to the store or it will replace the old card?
How does the police car work if the room you're moving into has zombies? Do you fight? Does it count as an overrun (take a damage)? Or do you just hang out with the zombies and everyone's just chill about it?
My biggest secret is that I don't! If I play a game very often I'll have no problem remembering, but if I haven't played in a month or more, I'll often go back and watch my video for a refresher before playing something.
Hey Cookie - I don't go into all the individual card effects in these videos, so the car and motorcycle you'll find explained on the game components, as with other items.
@@cookiemaster773 Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's printed on the room card where the vehicle is placed, and that is where it describes what the vehicles does.
Jeffrey Screen Sorry Jeffrey, I'm really not sure how it works either. Might need to ask the publisher directly on this one, or post a question to BoardGameGeek.
I understand that but it also makes it appear as if you were paid to advertise. You know how they always say the full name at every opportunity in commercials. Seems a bit unnatural. The Video is great by the way.
Ah, well I can't worry too much about how it might be interpreted. It's the term they use in the rules, so it's the term I use in the video. It's just an accuracy thing. And I am paid to create the tutorial, but the publisher doesn't weigh in on anything except any rules questions I might have. Glad you liked the video!
Then the players would each get an additional turn.

Hope you have a great time playing!

That said, as question 4 is a rule around general game play, I can answer that. You can pick up multiple tokens that you would have access to.
The other questions, you may find easiest to go directly to the publisher for.
@@WatchItPlayed Thank you Rodney!
17:09 Rodney, did you mean counter-clockwise order? Thank you for the tutorial though!
I mean't clockwise, but my hand wasn't listening! So basically, do as I say, not as I did! Good catch
@@WatchItPlayed Zombie arm!
thx for the great playthru it made me decide to buy the game today so I can play it myself
Have a great time playing!
Would definitely love to watch a Pep, and Rodney live play through of Tiny Epic Zombies
I appreciate the suggestion. I usually won't say for sure until we're filming something, so it's not happening soon at the very least.
Wow, this looks like it’s the most in depth Tiny Epic game yet.
Thanks for checking out the video!
5 different ways to play? Now that's value for money lol
Wow, I guess TEZ is now an evergreen game, as I just picked up a new copy 3 years after this vid was posted. And damn did I need this vid. I tried laying it out, but there too much complexity for me to grok. those A.B,C, decks confused the heck outta me before seeing this.
Very glad the video was helpful!
I can't wait till this game arrives!! Oh and laminate the cards Haha. Thanks Rodney for making this tutorial!🤗
You're welcome Minibee!
Mayday has TE sized sleeves, fyi.
Gotta get this watched before Extra Life Game Day next weekend
Hope you have a great time playing!
Great job as usual Rodney
Thanks Steve!
That is actually very nicely done game, wonder why i haven't heard about it , i think it worth buying ... Thank for how to play video :)
Thanks for watching! Glad we could help you find a game that fits your taste!
so great, can't wait to have my copy! Thanks for the video! :)
You're welcome! Hope you don't have to wait too long!
Prefer this over reading the rulebook. Thanks, mate
Everyone learns differently, so I'm glad to be able to help!
Question about movements, since you MUST move 3 times. Can you move in a room, attack a zombie, move another time, kill another zombie, move again and interact with an objective? Or does attacking/interacting with a room count as a movement?
I think that is correct. The interacting and killing of zombies seem like free actions, the way Rodney explained them.
Thanks Rodney. Love your content.
Thanks Eric - we love having you here!
3 questions:
- when i need to bring something to center as objective do i need to reach center room of cortyard or side rooms in cortyard are enough? Including army tokens.
- what mean for army token that they can kill zombie when bypass zombie? Can i anyhow kill zombie in room where army starts move?
- when army moves can i still activate room, pick up items in meepel room? So it would allow to activate room without moving.
I do my best to answer all rules questions on the games I cover, but I avoid individual card effects, as that's a level of detail beyond what I can manage across all the videos I do. I'd suggest checking the rules forum for the game on BoardGameGeek or the publishers website. I hope you can find your answer there - have fun playing!
Always love your content. Only suggestion would be for you to invest in v-neck undershirt lol C'mon man! Video quality would instantly improve
Ha :)
They do pack a lot of game in a tiny box. Not sure on this one. It would be great to see you and Pep (Andrea and Luke??) have a go at this.
Thanks for the interest!
Thank you so much, you really help us with a questionable moves.
Very glad it was helpful!
Or just get Heroes of Land, Air and Sea and enjoy a full sized game. ;)
Are these games less expensive than a comparable game of human size?
Not that much less than a regular retail game, but they have great production value I have all their games and they are great for trips and vacations.
Jason Capp I agree. For travelling, they are amazing games to have. I'm just talking about situations like when you at home.
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome Nathan!
Easy tutorial thanks rodney
You're very welcome - thank you for checking it out!
Shame this game has one of the worst rulebooks I have come across, thanks as always Rodney, really needed it with this one.
Very glad I could help!
Hi - love your videos but can you please clarify a few rules:
When the search card that is on the player board is revealed - if that player is in the courtyard who decides which of 4 adjacent stores it goes into? I assume since it features in the ‘human player turn’ part of the rules it is the human player?
Linked to the first question - if the search card revealed by the player while in the courtyard is the zombie event, where does the zombie go? Does it also go in one of the 4 adjacent stores (and if so, who decides where?) or does it go in the courtyard (but of course rather than place a zombie, drop the barricade?)
Exchanging items between human players - the rules seem pretty clear that you can only exchange items by dropping them and the other player picking them up - this is fine (although strange as you would think if you are in the same room you can just pass between players) BUT if you read the ‘call the CDC’ objective it says the radio can be passed between players - I assume this is because it has a little round token? So that leads me to ask about the 2 crates - do you have to drop and pick up, or can you pass?
Hey Matt - these are excellent questions, and unfortunately the rule book does not address them. I wish I could help, but in this case, I think you might need to check with the publisher or post on BoardGameGeek.
Search card in the courtyard goes in one of the 4 shops, active player decides
The zombie event in the courtyard destroys 1 barricade..no zombie placed
Exchange rules, you are right. You have to drop them and another player has to pick it up in their turn..no exchange, even if you are in the same room. Illogical for a reallife situation, just to balance the game. On the crates, same i guess. Drop it in a room and leave it for someone to pick up. (Manual unclear on this..i handle it as an item)
The radio token for the CDC is one (if not the only) Item, that can be dropped/given/taken from player to player in the same room (permission needed)
Whats also not clear in the rulebook..can 1 person carry 2 crates?
Great video! Still confused about the purpose of the traps though! Any advice?
I avoid explaining individual card effects (too many rules for me to manage across all games), but you'll find them explained on the store card that uses them.
Hey Rodney,
I have a quastion. After I move I have 3 options:
A: Kill a zombie B :Interact with tokens and/or Use rooms ability C: Collect items.
So I have to deside witch one i'd like to do or I can do all freeactions after one move? Thanks for your answer. Greetings from Hungary! :)
Hey Marcell, you can do them all! (Just remember, the room must be free of zombies to do B or C)
@@WatchItPlayed Awesome, thank you very much!
@@MrMpa31 You are right..the shop must be clear..not only the room
Thank you Rodney, you are the best!!
I wouldn't even be able to make these videos without you, so thank you as well!
Rules state: "You MUST move 3 times. Each Move could potentially consist of the following actions..." Does this mean you can move to one space and kill a zombie, move to the second space and use the room's ability then move to the third space and collect items? Or do you have to move all three spaces before doing anything?
That's right, after "each" move, you may perform an action.
Rodney are you going to do a game play video of this?
Thanks for the interest - we avoid pre-announcing as our schedule can change and I don't like to disappoint!
1.Network
2.Agra
3.Uboot
4.London Dread
5.Cavern Tavern
6.This war of mine
Thanks for the interest. I talk a bit about that here: ua-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/v-deo.html&t=342
what if the search phase is done at the courtyard? In terms of the matching of the symbols, how would I know how many zombies should spawn? and in which rooms?
Does this provide you the answer you are looking for: ua-cam.com/video/O9u8VXz8u80/v-deo.html
Sure, let me know what you find out :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@@WatchItPlayed Thanks again!
If you enter a room with 2 objective tokens, can you activate more than one token, or do you have to chose one per move?
As I understand it from the rules, you may activate more than one token.
Is Secret passage room ability? Does it mean store must be clear from zombies or not? Thnx
It is an ability, so the store must be empty.
After the zombies are cleared in a store can you activate multiple objectives in that room or is it just one?
Hey Josh, I believe you'll find this covered at 11:18.
You'll be pleased to know that two days ago we posted a game play video: ua-cam.com/video/unIaaMwQGKE/v-deo.html
The show has ebbs and flows in the game play content, but we won't be changing the title - glad you enjoy the game play content though!
Which game mode do you prefer or plays better in your opinion, co-op or 1 vs Many?
I haven't played every mode, but more importantly, I avoid reviewing or recommending on this channel, as it would be hard for me to say what would be better for each person, as each viewer will have their own likes and dislikes about styles of play.
Help! I met a case where I played the zombie and got to force an overrun player back into the courtyard. That player was carrying a supply token.
Does this immediately trigger the supply token, or would the player have to move out and back into the courtyard to get the supplies exchanged?
I played the Hippie Zombie.
Hey Fenryl, sorry, I'm not sure on the answer to that one. You might need to check with the publisher directly, or see if that question has been answered already on BoardGameGeek's forum for the game.
What if in noise check.. The human is in the courtyard which has no symbol. Does the zombie get the special ability?
The Zombie gets a bonus if the symbol on the card matches the symbol on the location. Since the courtyard has no symbol, there won't be a match.
Thanks for your video ) one question: the weapon revolver. It's written "if you overrun, you may spend 1 bullet to kill 1 zombie and not take a wound". What does "overrun" mean?
Just found out the answer, thanks )
You beat me to it then! Thanks for checking out the video!
The zombie player doesn't discard.
Thanks
Hey Rodney quick question, ok so if a room/store is empty can u interact with all the tokens or just one?.....🤔
Watch It Played I hear ya and thank u for the clarification, love your videos keep up the great work.....😁👍🏼
what if there's an item that is already in a store and you then draw again as there is no zombie on the store as well as it is after your 3rd move, does the next flipped card be added to the store or it will replace the old card?
Hey Rs, it would add to it.
@@WatchItPlayed oh okay, thank you so much!
How does the police car work if the room you're moving into has zombies? Do you fight? Does it count as an overrun (take a damage)? Or do you just hang out with the zombies and everyone's just chill about it?
You would immediately fight the zombie if you move into a room with a zombie.
How can you remember all these rules....beyond my imagination.
My biggest secret is that I don't! If I play a game very often I'll have no problem remembering, but if I haven't played in a month or more, I'll often go back and watch my video for a refresher before playing something.
What does the car and motorcikle do?
Hey Cookie - I don't go into all the individual card effects in these videos, so the car and motorcycle you'll find explained on the game components, as with other items.
@@WatchItPlayed 1st it's not a card
2st it doesn't even say it
@@cookiemaster773 Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's printed on the room card where the vehicle is placed, and that is where it describes what the vehicles does.
@@WatchItPlayed thank you game master
What about the vehicle?
I didn't go over each individual card, but the rules for the vehicle are listed on its room space.
Thank you for the video. You explain very well but yet it seems a complicate game. No?
Thanks Fernanda, glad you found it helpful. I avoid trying to assess complexity (as this will vary from person to person).
Hmm I love tiny Epic ANYTHING! But Zombies? Hmm.... pretty done to DEATH! Get it?! To DEATH!!!
;)
;)
... Please explain.
So basically, this game is just a cheaper mini version of Zombicide for people who don't want to pay $60 for all those cool little minatures.
It shares the theme, and is smaller - but the rules are quite different. Either way, thanks for checking it out!
What does the car do you didn't explain it :(
I often don't explain each individual card effect, and the car's ability is explained on the card that uses it.
Oh ok thx btw luv your vids :)
@@faustassvedas9151 So glad you've been enjoying them Faustas!
And what about the dog? There’s nothing in the rule book
The dog is part the deluxe edition as I understand it (I believe the rules for the dog are printed on an included card).
Watch It Played didn’t get a rule card with mine. It has all the room symbols so does that mean it activated all rooms for zombie turn?
Jeffrey Screen Sorry Jeffrey, I'm really not sure how it works either. Might need to ask the publisher directly on this one, or post a question to BoardGameGeek.
Do zombies move or attack???
They just behave as described in the video.
Love zombies and love Tiny Epic games.. but this one just seems to have too much wonky rules, so I’ll have to pass.
Thanks for coming by to check it out - glad the video was helpful!
So many wonky rules. Cumbersome. Agreed.
FIRST YEAH BOI
Why would you say itemmeeple every time ?
I tend to stick with the terminology used in the rules.
