EuroSpeed even with the battery life? (I'm looking to get either a s6 or s7, and I've been reading comments about the poor battery life of s6, that's why I'm asking)
I actually prefer the s6 for most of the photos and video (especially the stabilization). S7 only wins in some HDR photos with brighter photos. Not worth an upgrade. I can confidently say, people who say the s7 is WAY BETTER with WAY MORE CLARITY is under instense placebo effect.
The camera is not what makes me want to upgrade, it's the battery life. s6 battery life is horrible. What good is having a slightly better camera if your phone is always in low battery 😩

+Kameel I rooted my S6 & installed a custom ROM + kernel, now my battery life almost doubled from the stock S6, & surely did comparing to it on Lolipop. Not saying it's better than a stock S7 (& I guess the battery life of the S7 would be sick with what I did on it), but just that it's possible to get a S6 with great battery life in fine. Yet, seen all the other improvements of the S7, I think it's worth buying it rather than the S7, but as rhe S6's price dropped, it's a preference matter according to battery / money saving /camera / waterproof / performances... :)

Well I just picked up a Galaxy S6 instead of an S7 because it was too expensive, I don't think I'm losing a whole lot, not even in storage as I picked up a 64GB version for like 370€.
i had an s6 and it broke so i got the s7 edge. i think i like the s6 camera better for some reason. i have pictures from both and i prefer the s6 since the details are just that much sharper.

I feel this year is just a waste of money to upgrade to s7. the only big change I really see it's the battery and I always carry a small portable charger (I spend my battery like I eat taco bell... A LOT), so it doesn't makes much difference with me. Yes, snapdragon is cool and all. But I feel the S6 is fast enough for me (for now anyways)

+the Creative Assembly machinimas I don't think so. They actually had to sacrifice 4 mpx for the 1.7 focal aperture. 16 mpx would mean going back to 1.9 FA which won't favour low light shoots.

s6 edge is still the better camera, it's sharper, more color accurate, and you dont really want to take pics in low light anyways, buy the s7 edge for the expandable storage abd water resistance

Running an S2 now waiting for the right moment to upgrade. Thinking the s11 if may be time to bite the bullet. I just haven't seen go many upgrades since the s2.
Whats the point of rendering comparison of best 4k smartphone cameras in 1080p? UA-cam 1080p bitrate is veeery low and quality difference between 1440p and 1080p is HUGE. Seriously try to render this video in 1440p/4K in at least 20Mbps and upload it to youtube, you will notice big difference. Just look at grass and compare it with original.

Every-time I see a comparison all we hear about is low light, it suggest the S6 still beats the S7 for everyday normal usage, unless your a Count named Dracula
+1337041071 When people go out with their friends, they usually do it in the second half of the day, in the evening.or night. So better low light performance is a huge deal considering that when you're having a good time you tend to like taking pictures.
+Dragos Lucian Point is most people take pictures in the daylight and the S6 still performs best with that, yes you get a bit of extra light with the S7 but the downgraded camera, is it worth another £700/$800 for extra light?
1337041071 Probably an upgrade it's not really worth it. Only if you want the latest stuff. But if I had an S6, I'd consider upgrading to an S7 Edge (silver version) mainly for the amazing looks and then for the top-end hardware it packs. I wouldn't move to the simple S7 though.
It may not be as sharp when cropping as the s6 because of mp drop, but it most certainly is on point, if not better in some cases, in good lighting conditions - especially when you consider how fast it focuses and takes pics in general, which will equate to less hand blur etc. That plus not all days have good lighting - the S7 will also have the advantage on gloomy days.

4:3 is standard photo aspect ratio. 16:9 is standard video aspect ratio when in landscape mode because we have a natural wider view

I agree, the bezels are huge and the antenna lines are ugly, but the aluminium unibody is better than aluminium sides and glass back imo.

Hi saf, iv just ordered the s7 edge and its great! one problem iv noticed is when i select slow motion the screen flickers? is this something you have heard of before? thanks
