- This is another "What if" vid, but now we're giving Godot some appreciation, yoy. This "What if" vid basically covers what could've happened had Godot told Phoenix about his plan to stop Maya's murder from happening. I hope you enjoy this vid, and peace!

My guess is because things are not quite settled...After all,yes,they managed to stop Pearls from channeling Dahlia for now...But what is stopping her from seeing her mother again as she has her right to visit her mother,with Morgon coming up with another plan?

With these what-ifs, I am curious to see what else could happen if things were different, like what if apollo's first trial was his last because of that forged card.

4:38 Phoenix could let Pearl channel Mia so that she can't channel Dahlia instead of having to do that lie. It would be a good way to keep the threat off the board until they convince Pearl to not follow the instructions.
True.
But if I'm being honest, I think Pearl would still channel Dahlia out of curiosity, lmao.
Certain issues that could prop up from this:
1. Godot could never truly accept Phoenix Wright. All he did say was it would redeem him but that level of hatred won't be fully redeemed with just this act alone. Even worse, if Godot witnesses Wright "using forged evidence" later on, he's going to hate him too much to care about him anymore and he will never see Mia in him.
2. Morgan Fey will try to get Pearls to follow her plans again. And Pearl not even noticing a single thing wrong about her precious Mama, one of these days, Morgan will get through to her without Godot's supervision.
3. Iris is free but really has no reason to ever interact with Wright after this. Will she hide her truth forever or will she brave her hesitations and just come clean to him? We may never know and honestly I think the former is a little more realistic.
4. Dahlia didn't get tormented further and that's sad, we need to see her drown in hell's fiery seas.
5. We don't get to see more cute moments with Franny helping in the investigations and the trial as much as she can and that makes me sad.
6. Edgeworth doesn't get that one chance to live his childhood dreams and to be in his father's footsteps.
This AU does seem happier at first but the true ending will always be the one that's most satisfying.
Number 2 probably wouldn't happen since Morgan was put on death row, at least in the japanese version, and it's possible Iris could still try to contact Phoenix depending on how the week went. The rest, well...
You really captured Godot's inner thoughts as I imagined them. Something challenging to say the least!

Loved the video! Have my like! Do you think you can do a "what if" scenario where mia is alive and she does the SL9 trial? It's an idea I had in my head for a while but I'm still learning how to do objection lol videos properly, and in the original, Ema was looking for Mia but she found phoenix instead.
That's...actually pretty interesting. I might have to draft some ideas on that.

Well, I don't think she would've been known as Maya's mother. So this throws out that plot point, lol.
@@razorrat11 Does raise the possibility that she might find out about Nick nailing von Karma, though, and make her willing to at least privately come forward. Or maybe Mia gets channeled while she's present and is able to recognize her...

If you don't mind me asking you, have you had any problems with certain sprites? I believe I've been having some sprites talk after they've finished their sentences. Just wondering If I'm not the only one.

Perhaps you clicked the "No Talking" button in one frame and let other sprites talk in the other frames? Or maybe it's just the sprites themselves that are the problem?

@@razorrat11 I remember the issue. The moment the update hit I noticed something odd going on with the sprites.
So the update definitely messed something up with the sprites(certain ones) cause this never happened before the update. What a weird bug, but oh well I'm not complaining about a free service.

You know....I found that there is actually a far easier way for Godot to stop the killing plot: ask Phoenix to search for or even ask Pearl for the instruction letter.
That letter is very crucial to the plan, if it was found and destroy before they even reach the temple. The whole problem is solved!
Even better, outright telling Pearl about the while plot. Pearl would never hurt Maya in anyway.
If she found out that was what Morgan want, she would never carry out the task.
That is definitely true.
I could see the letter being destroyed as some kind of joke ending though? I feel like people would do that, lol.
In all Honesty I kind of like AceBone's take on this scenario when Iris got the courage to talk down a tied up Dalia-possessed Pearl (and pearl being none the wiser post possession despite the rope) in the temple prison proper thanks to Phoenix and Godot better but this was alright although it is a newer take than this vid so there's that
This is an older take on that topic so yea, lol.
As time passed, I realized that just making Phoenix and Godot make amends so easily is honestly a cheesy way to handle this kind of topic lol. This may have prevented Morgan's plan, but not everything can be all well and done lol. Plus, Iris standing up to Dahlia is, imo, out of character considering Phoenix hadn't done much to convince Iris to do said stand up, as unfortunate as it is lol.
I like AceBone's version tho, even if it is out of character in some times.

Hey it’s me again and not gonna lie it’s pretty fun but now I have an issue. How do I do the typewriter because every time I do it, it just makes it a character talking. Any solutions?
You can get rid of the character and background in a frame. You could also just remove the typewriter action in the frame itself once you already have a typewriter frame.
