saw them open for Coheed & Cambria in 2015 I think & was hooked from the first song (which was Feed Your Horses), but my god they are insane. ‘My Famed Disappearing Act’ is prob my favorite

The voice is hard to swallow sometimes, but this band is insanely good. The album "Terraformer" is a masterpiece!!

I love Salvatore voice, i think that fits perfectly with the music, in my opinion he is at the same level with the band. I will miss him, hope they got a new singer and not continue as instrumental.
Their complete discography is excellent, but I think they gained personality with the different albums. Terraformer is a masterpiece.

I feel you, Clay. I agree with Sue that he has one of the cleanest voices I’ve ever heard, but honestly the lyrics detract from the music on a lot of their songs. Interestingly, the vocalist recently left the band so we may get to see more purely instrumental tracks out of them

Ok - glad I'm not alone on this one. Sue is right. The vocals are super clean. The music is insane. Great band!

TYS is fucking crazy. You never know if you're gonna get progressive metal, smooth jazz, or any of the million combinations in between. I love them. I agree the vocals are an acquired taste, I also didn't like them at first, but they do grow on you at least a little bit. Would love to see you guys react to more if you're down. Mr. Invisible is a classic by them, or My Famed Disappearing Act if you wanna hear more of Tom Monda's insane guitar work. They also got some instrumentals like Suspicious Waveforms or Rube Goldberg Variations if you wanna dodge the voice hahaha

Thanks Clay and Sue. I did recommend it because I knew you enjoyed what you heard from Dirty Loops. I understand it can be a tad bit much to absorb, but I am floored with the musicianship and the production. I discovered these guys opening for Haken and I was just floored how clean they were even live and how much fun they like to have. There is a video of them playing one of their songs FXMLDR with The Blue Coats Drum and Bugle Corps I recommend checking out for anyone interested.
The Vocal does give me the Michael Jackson vibe, but similar to Dirty Loops as well, no? Unfortunately Salvatore is no longer with the band. Not sure if they will be getting a replacement or will become an instrumental band perhaps, but I will be looking forward to more by them.

Thanks for suggesting this Arrow! I def want to hear more of this band. I didn't hate the vocals, maybe they'll grow on me the more I listen to their music

I absolutely get the dirty loops connection, but this is a carnival of sounds coming from this band!

Clay took all the words out of my mouth. Awesome music but the vocals took away from it for me

I've listened back to it a couple more times now, and I still think the vocals are in the way for me. I don't know if they'll grow on me

I thoroughly enjoyed this man's voice. I do see how the voice and the music didn't necessarily mesh as smoothly as it could.
