- Since 1994 with its first consumer offering in the QuickTake 100, Apple has been a company that loves cameras.

I really like these videos, they really make your articles come to life. The troll face after the iPad camera bit was a nice touch.
Wow that QuickTake is older than me
Awesome job Stephen. Love your articles and podcasts....looking forward to more great videos!
90's Phil Schiller looks magnificent!
i really want the isight, it looks really good
I have an Isight attached to my 2005 Mac Mini but I have not been able to get the Mac Mini to recognize it.
Can you help ?
When are they going to include a designated zoom and shoot button, and a genuine viewfinder for their cameras? I would love to see a real zoom lens on their cameras. Or a Smart Camera Mod/Case.
I think in the past as well in the present, overpricing has been a major issue with Apple. IT wasn't until the business innovation of paying on your phone with your cell plan that the iPhone and thus Apple became mainstream.
I like the concept of the companion phone with the touchpad. I think that's a concept that can be updated for today's wireless technology. It's something I've been advocating for: a dumb/flip phone Apple companion, because I still like the ergonomic experience of holding a phone up to my head, not a glass computer.
What do you think @512Pixels, about the potential of updated or refreshing some of this nostalgic technology?

I do not like the smart phones because they are too hard to use with the touch screen. Since I can only use one hand, they are a royal pain. I have a smart phone to say hello but I cannot or do I want to use it as a camera. I have a Canon camera which I think takes superior photos. In my personal opinion my camera's takes better pictures then the pictures taken with the smart phones.
