My daughter is detassling corn and her shoes are a muddy mess every day. We have the same dryer! If you tie the shoe laces unevenly, one shoe will hang above the other and no need to rotate. We tie them in a slip knot vs. a spoon and that works too. I was afraid the spoon would wear on the outside of the dryer over time, not sure it would but just being overly cautious, probably.
You could do any heat depending on what type of material they are. If we need them dried quickly, we do a medium or high heat but we keep an eye on them - depending on the material. If we have more time, we do low or medium heat so the temp doesn't scorch or shrink them. If it's nice and sunny out, and we don't need them any time soon, we put 'em in the sunshine. :)
Very clever. My son and I got caught in a a storm coming off the school bus and he needs his shoes dry asap for the morning. I'm afraid to stick the shoes in the dryer because 1. What if they melt and 2. What if the tumbling breaks my dryer. This tip helps with #2. Thank you. Just wish my own shoes had laces to hang from.
@@AngelaBurtonLK a mesh bag 🤦. Brilliant idea. It took 3 days for my shoes to dry. My back up pair were killing my feet. Next time they go into the dryer. Thank you.
Someone in the comments mentioned putting them in a mesh bag with a string and using that string like shoes laces. It might be worth a shot if you need to do it in the future. :)
Some Heroes dont wear capes! Thank you
Lol glad it helped!

It is important to use mild/gentle drying for minimal heat to avoid damaging the shoe adhesive chemical components. Thanks for the hack.
Thank u so much!!! I already have 4 pair of shoes waiting for being dry out 🥲😂

@@PersonalPowerhouse my fiancé just seen this video with me and we love it and she loves ur shoes and was wondering where u got them
@@michaelbartlett7442 They're Asics and I'm pretty sure I got them at Academy.... I doubt they exist now because it was quite a few years back. :)
Wow! I never would have thought of that. amazing 🤩
🤗
thanks for sharing.
what if the shoes has no lace?
thanks
Try putting them in a mesh bag that has a draw string :) I haven’t tried that personally, but someone else suggested it.
Hope it helps!
thank you very much for the idea.👍👍🌹🌹
appreciated
I'm not a young adult anymore, but thank you for the new trick!
You're super welcome, Stacy! I actually have a lot of "not young adults" 😂 following the IG page hehe You're welcome there, too!
You're just a level up from us younger folks
Great trick
Awesome thank you! But I live in apartments it’ll be wired if I’d tried that in my local laundry room😂
You might actually help others who have been needing a shoe -drying solution. 😊 If you have a book to catch up, that might not make it so weird 🙃
Thank you 🙂 it worked
Yay! 🙌 You're welcome!
What settings do you use?

Tysm I have a basket ball game in 1 hour and this method really helped
You're so welcome! I hope you dominated at your game!
This woman is amazing
haha awww, thanks. Just sharing what I can. :)
If you do this trick does the shoe damage in the dryer or no ?? Lol it’s my first time doing this way so idk if it would damage or not
I think it depends on the shoe, but athletic shoes tend to always turn out well. :)
Awesome idea!
Walked through a river and needed this idea! Thanks great vid
Thanks! Glad it helped. I bet it was fun to be out exploring :)
@@PersonalPowerhouse well worth it indeed
Best hack!!
So glad it was helpful to you, Sara!
Omg you’re the best. This was VERY helpful 👍🏻😎
Absolutely! I'm glad it helped 🙌
I love this but I’m trying to fry my Vans and they don’t have laces but thank you.
You could try putting your Vans in a mesh bag and using the same concept - as long as your mesh bag has a draw string and not a zipper.
I don’t have laces
You’re a genius
Haha glad it helped! All credit to my husband who showed me the idea :)
I love this!!!!
An old hairdryer works just fine
Wow thats pretty dope! Thanks
Absolutely!
Dont put your vans classic mine got sole separation in just 5 mins😢

Mesh bag. Then tie the string from the mesh bag on the spoon

Yes! Great answer, @iitzangiieebiih.
I'm glad this gave you a solution for the future, @monica!
I’m a teen but this helped lol
Good! I'm glad - I actually created Personal Powerhouse for teens and young adults so that's great.
Smooth tip #lifehacks
Thank ya!!
Uumm, why not just put them in a mesh bag and close the door on the upper part of the bag?
Is this illegal? Will I get arrested for doing this?
What?
Yes, you will be arrested for laundering
This literally messed up my dryer instantly. Maybe it was just my kenmore but I wouldn’t do it.
Dang it. My shoes don't have laces.
Someone in the comments mentioned putting them in a mesh bag with a string and using that string like shoes laces.

Umm This melted my shoes!
I need them dry now
There is a better way no dryer needed. Shoes will be dry over night.
You are beautiful ❤
Great tip !!!
Thanks! Hope it helped :)
