- The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony will take place Friday (7/26) Paris time, or Saturday (7/27) early morning, West Indonesian Time.
The Indonesian team will wear a uniform inspired by traditional attire during the athletes' parade at the opening ceremony. The outfit was created by designer Didit Hediprasetyo.
The inspiration for this unique design was the late master painter, Raden Saleh. it tells the story of his journey in the 19th century, in introducing Indonesia to the world stage. Hopefully, it will inspire the athletes to fly the Indonesian flag up high at the podiums in Paris.

I'm from Indonesia, and I love Philippines uniform. The details in the collar, and the Philippines flag colour in a white base look so beautiful ❤️. What can I say, I'm a sucker for white and minimalist design lol. Let's hope we ASEAN countries could achieve the best and bring back many medals 🎉.
How proud indonesian shout that she loves others countrys uniform 😂😂 lol
@@oliviageorgiana9897 who hurt you honey 🥺?
As Pinoy, I actually like the Indonesian uniform over the Filipino uniform. Ours is too simple. The latter could have showcased more of our Native Culture and Traditions.
I like Indonesia, Philippines and Mongolia uniform 😊
Sorry to say, Indonesia olympic uniforms look more stunning than the others.
Malaysian is too 'Raya', i think it need more 'high fashion' accent
True.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Indonesia wore traditional Balinese costumes, while the previous Olympics featured traditional Lampung and Papuan costumes.
Basically, Javanese traditional costumes are being used for the first time, and Indonesia has a lot of stock of costumes for the next Olympics. We are one of the countries that has many good wearing choices in its wardrobe😊
Itu saja Jawanya lebih Jawa kontemporer. Dan untuk Jawa sendiri masih banyak pilihan disetiap masing-masing daerah
@@wonglemu6 Same as Bali, if you go to Bali, besides the traditional clothes that are agreed to be worn at every formal Balinese traditional event, Bali has various types of clothing that vary depending on the traditional ceremony, dance, music, etc.
@@dharmasatya3265 bener. Indonesia sangat kaya, baik Bahasa, busana, kuliner. Soto saja, geser sedikit satu provinsi sudah beda citarasanya.
Bagus seragam Indonesia, siluet nya, cuttingan nya, fitting nya, pemilihan warnanya, tradisional tapi sporty, rapi banget, keren designernya.
Love the indonesia design. It traditional yet you can see it sporty and easy to use. Could be the trend for casual-traditional event outfit.
Malaysia is not only Malay. the concept is too Islamic centric. Happy Eid Mubarak Paris 😅
Family photo after Ied
Wkwkwkw yeah, The Indonesian photo looks like a family photo 😂. But hey all Indonesians are one big family.
@@licas3214Malaysia, you mean, right?
@@AndriSutomo-ft3bn he mean, Indonesian also looks likea a Family photo just like Malaysian
tbh, the malaysian outfit looks like Uniform of Waitresses in Indonesian's Rumah Makan Padang
Malay olympic uniform is out of date..happy eid mubarak 🤣🤪
coraknya hasil nyuri dari songket Palembang.🥴
@@Arga-yg1hlA country that doesn't have an identity is another country🤭😀
@@Arga-yg1hlkalo ga nyolong/klaim ga punya apa🤫
Oh the philippines is simple but the detail is interesting❤
Can never make it too extravagant or other provinces will make a big deal out of it. We're too diverse to decide on a single style of uniform 😂 problem with a diverse culture
Francis Libiran could have made the Philippine uniform more intricately Filipino, but it turned out to be too. Simple. Close to being a school uniform.
Indonesia ❤❤❤
jawa adalah koentji
Malaysia: "Selamat hari rayeeeee 🎉 "
Love them ❤ Imagine if the costumes get wilder every year and it eventually becomes similar to the Hunger Games lol
There's no modern aspect in Malaysia, only traditional. Not like Indonesia and the Philippines...🤔
Yeah, Indonesian’s design is a modern maid
@@mrsenorismRude much?
@@coffee.170 well, consider you guys being served!
@@mrsenorismdoesn’t change the fact that malay having a late ied mubarak vibe with dull color. Just accept it. Malay doesn’t even fit in the uniform competition to begin with.
@@SelenAque there’s nothing wrong with Hari Raya fashion. After the event, it can always be adorned at any occasion until the end of time; talking about sustainable fashion…which people like you can’t comprehend btw. Most important, this is not a fashion show, so?
Kerudung and Teluk Belanga is Good but the Color out of date for sport event
Mongolian uniforms still da best but I like Indonesia and Philipine uniforms too
I like phil uniform..
Malaysia mau lebaran kah?
Malaysia..selamat idull Fitri..

Kayak pembantu seragam Indo
Bagus, sih, tapi kayak Ada yg kurang dari sisi ciri khas, center of attention. Bentuknya udh keliatan kebaya Dan beskap, cuma kalo dari jauh warna polos aja.
Astagfirullahal 'adzim..tak bisakah Koment lebih baik.?
otak Lo tuh yg perlu dibantu!!! sejak kapan pembantu pake begitu?????
Emak loe mgkn yg jd pembantu nya
Oh sultan pakai pakaian adat jawa sepert ini trus kamu bilang mirip pembantu juga gtu? Boleh ini komen di post di akun sultan jogja.
Why is it only the javanese for the Indonesian? not like any other countries who represents their design as a whole countries? It's sad to see this since indonesia isn't only the javanese but lot more tribes existed, the other SEA Countries realize and understand this thus making their design represent their whole countries
Do your own research, each olympics we include a traditional attire from chosen tribes to represent our country, the previous one wearing balinese, jakarta, etc.
In fact, this clothing was inspired by the figure of Raden Saleh, an Indonesian painting maestro, whose traces of his work are in the French Louvre Museum. Of course, this clothing characterizes his figure (Javanese) and combines Indonesian values with the colors red and white.
@@voya-nc3vn thank you, i understand that, but why not make one design to represent the diversity? Why making it difficult to create design for one particular tribes for each olympic instead just one to represent the whole Diversity, sound hypocritical when your motto is "unity in Diversity" isn't it?
@@asuha4578 because i think it is impossible to include every tribe. as we are in too diverse. and to combine it into one single design seem like an impossible task. would love to be proven wrong, if you able to at least point a design that include every single tribe on our beloved country. and other sea countries is more homogeneous society so it is a bit unfair to compare it to us.
your points are wrong. malaysian literally complains everywhere because they only include semenanjung tradition. also, Indonesia is more diverse than every other SEA country, it's simply impossible to combine everything. They could make it modern and only include their red and white, but completely removing the 'cultural' part isn't very Indonesian. Some could argue to just use batik, but even batik has so many types for each different part of the country.
