    Good Video..
    The thing I like most is that when used simply as a remote
    release, the TC-80N3 does not require battery
    power.

      Actually it does... it just last a long long time time (mine has gone approximately 3 years)

    • @4Kandlez
      @4Kandlez 2 роки тому

      @@rtyler1869 Actually it doesn't... he even said that in the video, the shutter button will work without battery power just like a standard remote release using the camera battery, it's wired exactly the same. The timer functions are just sending a firing signal in place of you pressing the button

    Very helpful. Have the Canon version but could never figure out how to use it. Their instruction manual was not clear enough to me.

    You are great. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with others. Please do not stop with your opening remark -- Love the jokes. I will always listen to your lectures but will never get closer because I don't want to be slap silly -- Hahhahahahaha.

    The opening jokes are funny! I've been subscribed to your work for sometime now and I just want to thank you for the humour and mostly the Photo Edu. I found the post about wedding photo was most helpful, it gave an on-hand demo of your skills with the clients and the Camera. Do you have any plans for reviewing the new Canon 50 +mp camera? I love to get your take on it, I assumed you are primarily a Canon Guy. Thanks CT

    The intervalometer doesn't have an On/Off switch BUT I left mine in the camera bag for around a year without using it and when I went to use it again the battery was still functioning. I carry a spare battery but I've never had to put it in.

    Nice...indeed no off buttom but what if you open the baterry compartment and slide a piece of paper on to of the battery to stop contact...might work.

    Great video but it made me laugh when you said "so I can leave and come back in 2 hours and have my timelapse photography shots". More like "so I can leave and come back in 2 hours to find all my gear has grown legs and walked off".

      Or better yet... he can leave for 2 hours and come back and see his camera has over-heated..lol

    Can i use intervalometer to engage continuous shooting (setting continuous on camera instead of bulb) for 20 seconds and delay/timer of few minutes ?
    (with sony a6000)

  • @mostlymessingabout
    @mostlymessingabout 3 роки тому

    Can you combine intervalometer and bulb? 2 minutes every 3 minutes?

  • @m.witter5115

    confusing in on respect...If I want 30 shots, and I want each shot to last for 30 seconds....can I still set the interval for 3 sec between shots or would I need to include the length of the shot in the setting in other words would the interval setting be 33 or 3?

  • @AmyProctor

    Can it be used with a Speedlite? In other words, if the Speedlite is turned on will it flash with every shot triggered by the intervalometer if I want it to?

    • @Academy-of-photography
      @Academy-of-photography  7 років тому

      +Amy Proctor the flash will be triggered by the camera. Answer is yes but be careful not to damage the flash as they are not built to eork for long times. Also you eill need lots of power

    So, you say, set the camera to, bulb setting to use the TC 80N3, right?
    The bulb setting is the same as manual? I did not know that, thank you...
