4:26 This graph shows it wrong. The interval is the time between the closing of the shutter and the next opening of the shutter. The manual has been updated to the correct information.

No, it wasn't an eclipse. It was just a very clear night. Thank you.
You can turn it off, the stop/start button serves two things, hold it down to turn it on
While on to start or stop the time lapse
Press and hold it down, it will turn off
Didn't work for me.

Mine turns off automatically after not pressing any button for about a minute.
