THANKS TO DR. PAL, FOR HIM ONLY I QUIT SMOKING AND DRINKING AND STARTED A HEALTHY LIFE AT THE AGE OF 25 AND STARTED TO EAT LESS OILY FOOD, THANK YOU SIR YOU ARE A TRUE FORM OF DOCTOR AKA GOD🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nicely said 👍 In my personal experience as interventionist too, I have never seen a young heart attack happening in a non smoker or in the absence of any comorbid illnesses. My 80% of consultation time is spent only on counseling about lifestyle changes, as rightly said they form the base of the pyramid of any treatment..
"What patients can do for themselves is more than what I can do for them" Dr. Arun. That's the absolute truth. May all people benefit from your guidance and stay healthy.
In enjoyed this discussion from Dr. Pal and Dr. Kalyanasundaram discussing the importance of healthy living rather than solely relying on pharmaceuticals. As a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine doctor with a background in exercise physiology, exercise is crucial to leading a healthy lifestyle. Of course, it's important to remember that physical activity has slight risks, but the benefits outweigh them. For instance, vigorous intensity exercises can be risky for those not used to regular exercise. In contrast, moderate-intensity exercises like brisk walking may pose risks for those with undiagnosed chronic conditions that are not well controlled. That's why it's always important to consult your primary care doctor before starting an exercise program. Here in the U.S., we see our patients once a year as part of regular checkups - much like taking your car for a service by a mechanic! Finally, let me emphasize that fitness matters - multiple studies have shown that increased fitness levels correlate with decreased risk of death. So go ahead - exercise regularly and eat healthily! Continue to follow Dr. Pal advice regarding eating habits.
Another excellent video based on evidence and really explaining things that are simple to understand for the general population. Thank you so much for educating and changing the lives of so many people. I don't know why everywhere people go behind film celebrities. They should recognize people like Dr.Pal who truly makes a difference
Thank you Dr Pal and Dr Arun for this video. I lost my 35 year old nephew around 2 months back to Cardiac arrest. He was diabetic. How I wish he had seen your videos and taken care of himself. Alas it's too late
வணக்கம் Dr. Pal and Dr. Arun. Excellent expose on heart issues and impact of lifestyle choices on it. All that information shared in a very sincere and empathetic manner along with liberal dose of humor. Keep up the good work. May God bless both of you and your families.
Thank you for doing this. Most adults are not sleeping on time, messing up the endocrine system; also we need some reliable screening methods to detect heart disease; its a fact that needs more research that if you take 100 asymptomatic people and do a screening coronary angiography many will have stenosis of varying degrees, but most of them do not develop heart attacks. Why? Also, you cannot reliably predict who among them will have heart attack. We need to know so much more to save lives.
Hi doctors dr.pal and dr.arun Wonderful❤interview. So much to know and practice. Dr.pal, can u pl.tell me how are you able to pull anyone and everyone into your fold and make the conversation so light, meaningful and humorous one . great talent . GOD BLESS YOU GUYS. O humorous humuroushumorous
Very good Information dr.pal sir.but it will be more meaningful ,the same vedios is made it in tamil language so that we can easily understand the concept of your vedios.
Dr Pal, can you give some opinion on the risk of doing laser hair removals? Does it have any long term impact on our bone structure? Or is it completely safe to go on with it? Please do a video on it. Thank you so much 🙏
Hi Dr Pal and Dr Arun, some people smoke one or 2 sticks a day, or once a week when the consume alcohol. What is your opinion on this type of smoking habit?
@Dr Pal ji .. i daily see your videos most of them again ... Hi Doctors ? How to clear existing Plaque or Arthesclerosis that has already formed doctors ? Will drinking Apple Cider Vinegar daily Chelate the deposits ? Other than excercise? Do u put catherer and remove the existing plaque outside the radial artery or groin artery like cleaning a internal rusted pipe ?
Sir what is preexcitation syndrome short pr interval complete rbbb is this normal or serious need treatment a sir dizzy tired left shoulder pain is there
I was expecting atleast Dr Arun will prove me wrong about my perception about doctor studying anatomy for 5 years and zero about nutrition Dr Arun was blank on how to loose fat forgot the whole role of insulin while loosing fat ... And doctor said keto is not good .. dear Arun from 2 lakh years from stone age human have evolved around protein and fat ... Our Brain is 80% fat ....
Thankfully someone spoke frankly about C*O*V*I*D openly. This was an elephant in the room that no one wanted to address. Athletes who are used to pushing the limits have definitely found some side effects due to the vaccination or the pandemic itself. Now the question is how to acknowledge, diagnose the risk and tackle it.
Hi doc ,thanks for educating us how can i contact you as i am having some problems regarding my stomach. Like i am trying yo loose my weight, i will end up with severe maigrain ,so will u help me please 🙏
6pm idea is good. How has pure veg actually helped Indians ? Most Indians don’t eat nv everyday why do we have so much diabetes and cardio diesease? Our high carb diet veg or nv is killing us and making us unhealthy . Fries and processed food irrespective of veg or nv never going to help us
I had one question for the guest specialist. Are there any blood work apart from cholesterol that helps detect non calcified plaque? For calcified plaque there is low radiation calcium score. Since EKG and Echo are not fool proof, is there a non invasive way to identify plaque formation without tests that involves radiation?
The issue is even if tests are there to non-invasively identify plaque, there are no medical treatments for that. Interventional cardiologists don't touch the plaque till it is 80% blocked or if you have symptoms. They know that body has other defense mechanisms and can actually create collateral arteries to deal with the situation naturally. So, I would suggest you live a proper lifestyle without stress and thats the best you can do. BTW.. I am not a doctor but well read on this topic.
@@RajKumar-ps1zg there are limited research happening in this area to induce body create collaterals but there are still a lot of unknowns and a long way to go.
Too much of anything is bad . Death of Dr. Shetty of Narayana Nettralaya is eye opening . No Keto , no over-fasting, no over exercise . Instead eat less of all and do moderate exercise. Say no to Sugar & sugar products , fried items .
Medical science has no idea about what is going on with sudden cardiac deaths around the world. Your narrative on lifestyle falls flat when Dr.Bhujang Shetty who himself is a doctor and knew everything about the diet collapsed last week and died. My wife cousin who came as a guest passed away in the rest room with sudden Myocardial fibrosis in Boston, USA. Non smoker, non alcoholic, Vegetarian, non obese, no health issues as per his PCP regular blood work done last month, male healthy and no symptoms, 33 years, No family history. He slept well, ate idlis and went into the restroom and never came out. He had covid 8 months before he died inspite of having 3 doses of PFIZER vaccine. When we opened the door he was in sleeping position inside the bathtub. Shower was on, falling on his leg and was draining out. Shampoo, soap were intact and so he did not have sudden fall. He made himself comfortable and lied down.

Can People with bad cholesterol have complete egg or only white? Finding it extremely difficult to meet protein target just with plant & dairy protein
Egg white is pure albumen or protein. Logically, it shouldn't be a reason for cholesterol
