I am from Bihar but having tasted Misal in Pune, I can certainly sense and hence say, that it is not the authentic misal recipe. Mr. Kapoor's presentations are always as if what he says, seal the deal ! That is not correct any more, atleast in this digital age where there are many who post authentic and much better recipes. Not a big fan of Mr. Kapoor. He just got the first mover advantage in his time. No offence meant Sir. :)

Sir, since childhood was following u but sorry to inform u this missal recepie is incomplete without coconut & jaggery.
