I'm from Mumbai I think best misal is in Mumbai that's made by me ,,,,myself 😃😋...in kolhapur or otherwise also we don't use only laal tikhat...actually we use kanda lasun masala or kala masala in this that's the main test enhancer and then aroma u can imagine....yummy yummy😋😋

Sir really nice. I'm from pune and Pune is also known as a origin of misal and has healthy competition with kolhapuri misal. Kolhapuri style is similar in many places in kolhapur region but in pune there are 8 to 10 joints where you will get their unique mixture of misal and it's cut ( tarri) & rassa. All are these places are 50 to 100 yrs old and famous. Also in misal everyone has it's own type of farsan usually crispy and fresh, some uses potato bhaji in misal, some uses poha, with basic ingredient as matki usal. Each rassa has unique taste like someone has very hot and spicy, some one has spicy and tangy and slightly sweet, and so on. But one thing is sure that each one is worth to taste. Also to see that some serve with bread slice instead of pav. Since few yrs ago misal competition is also organized. I make all type of above at home. You do really visit pune and taste puneri special misal. Welcome. 🙏👍
