Thank you for showing this! A lot of people didn't show the picto lb3 and I had to go searching for someone that did. It seemed visually underwhelming at first but I like that second part. We can become Krile. :D

It's not super duper flashy but I do love how chunky the explosion sound is for the Viper LB

Pictomancer's LB looks like the special attack from Pixiemon from Digimon world 1, but blue

Viper looks cool, but it's last animation should probably be centred on the target if they can help it.

tbf, lb3 is usually used against way larger targets, not ones the size of the dummy used here.

Also, I wasn't sure if it was at the time because melee users tend to be single targets.

All right, well if I wasn't already convinced to play picto, now it's going to be hard not to. Our character even does Kryle's dance from the trailer while casting the LB3. I'm playing picto and I'm stealing all the LB3 even if I have to die from it, heh.

Picto is pretty, a bit plain (needs more fish?!!) but it was most important for it to look pretty and at least they met that expectation. Viper leans into the snake theme, with the double blade mode symbolically representing the snake's body and the dual wield mode representing the fangs + snakeskin vfx for good measure. It expresses that they want the job to be more than just Zidane, and that's cool. Not bad. Yes, I would have preferred more vfx, but I already know if they did more then everyone would complain about being blinded or it being too busy. So, I get it... no matter what they did, one group would not be satisfied. I think they balanced it somewhat well.

Ah, so people were right and Krile did do the LB3 in the trailer. It looks a bit underwhelming compared to the other Casters though.

Yeah, honestly a little disappointed in it. I guess it fits picto, but it doesn't feel as impactful as other casters.

This feels very gendered like how viper is for boys while pictomancer is for girls in the same way how companies used to market their toys to different demographics. Even McDonalds used to have Happy Meal toys for either boys or girls getting different toys like transformers/hot wheels or barbie/my little pony.

To each their own. I think it's kinda cool. The WoL dashing to form the body of a snake, only to have the swords serve as two viper fangs that bite down is a pretty cool visual (in my opinion).

Eh. Some of the weakest LBs visually IMO. Especially the picto one.
