Thank you for creating and posting this. I will make these observations: 1. I go to the bakery outlet and get my whole grain bread for half the price of Walmart or Aldi. You can freeze bread and bagels from the store when it's on sale, or if you buy it at the bakery outlet. Dollar Tree always has name bread whole grain bread for $1. 2. Almond Milk...even generic is a total rip off...nutritional articles have stated that there are about 4 almonds in the carton you show 3. If you have access to an Asian market, the produce is usually much more reasonably priced. I have not found that to be true with hispanic grocery store produce. 4. Skim milk will freeze ...if you find it on sale, you can freeze what you plan to use later 5.The LeCroix is a waste of money, unless you just like it as a treat. You can buy a Brita Water purifier (I think it makes my own tap water tastes good). I have had my Brita for 25 years...6. Rice is always a very good purchase, and I buy it regularly...a rice cooker can be bought for $25 to $40 on Amazon or at Walmart. 7. I notice you didn't buy cereal, which is smart. Cereal is a rip off in most cases. Again, thank you for posting this...I learn from videos like these. I hope my comments helped and you don't regard them as criticism.
Yes I know that! When I said "or whatever you call it" I was meaning that I didn't know whether it was a GREEN or YELLOW onion. I do know that an onion is not a pepper. I just wasn't paying complete attention when I spoke or edited.
Wow! I know this is an old video, but why is everyone being so critical? She's a human too. For everyone who was being kinda icky, I have a question. Are y'all perfect? Jesus says everyone needs a savior okay? Plus, I think she eats perfectly well! If that's what works for her, then that's what works for her! Everyone's body is different. (:
Emma Wilson also a lot of people don't like plastic bags and feel like it's a waste of resources and pollutes for no reason. I don't use bags when I shop ether, all fresh veggies and fruits should always be washed before consumption anyways
you should wash your produce before preparing and eating it anyway, so it's okay to put them alone in the cart! also it's smart of her to reduce her use of plastic bags. :)
i love doing healthy food haul vlogs loved watching yours im from perth australia love seeing what yous buy and i know our dollar is different but your groceries are so cheap compared to here! please do more vlogs like this and maybe what i eat in a day vlogs to im doing one 2moro because i havnt done 1 for a while. do your room mates ever eat your food? thanks for sharing hun
But plastic bags are so bad for the environment, just wash your veggies well, I mean I work at a grocery store. Do y’all really need to put those bananas or oranges in a bag lmao, I don’t think you’re going to eat the skin...
Marie Jarry I agree. Unless it’s small veggies I put them straight in my cart. No need to put more plastic bags in the environment & I’ve never gotten sick from putting food right in the basket.
wow really did you just buy only 2 bananas and 1 apple omg see this kills me you skimp on food but you spend crazy amouts on clothes and gas for your car plus make up and going out with friends . just crazy in my book.
Well not really but I was shocked to see how little food you buy ever week and by looking at you its a definite fact that you have dark circles under your eyes and your face is really pale your very malnourished.and that's very sad to live this way just to save a few bucks. Just to be popular on UA-cam. Its not worth it .people will like you for you not for being cheap.
A B See, this is exactly my point. You know very little about me but have decided to run your mouth as if you’re an expert on my life. Maybe once I share with you that I have a bachelors degree in Dietetics and will soon be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will believe that I know a lot more about malnutrition than you. I can assure you I do not have malnutrition. I’m pale because it was winter in Iowa. I’ve had purple under my eyes since I was a child. Furthermore, neither of these are symptoms of malnutrition. Of course you wouldn’t know that because you have never been trained to diagnose malnutrition. What you see me buy in this short video is not all that I ate for the 7 days following. I also never claimed that it was. I obviously already had food on hand too, as I showed. Plus, I don’t eat at home for every single meal. While I did pay for my entire education, transportation, and housing, I actually did not pay for my own food at this time. My parents wanted to make sure I didn’t have to pinch pennies to feed myself as you’re suggesting I did. That being said, I always try to be respectful of their money and therefore only buy what I know will get eaten. Next time you want to troll a UA-cam video, try phrasing your comments as questions instead of facts. It at least makes you look curious as opposed to just uneducated.
I thought she did well! There was a decent amount of food for one person for the week when she laid it out on the counter and none of it was processed crap. Buying single items is smart if you're shopping for one because you get a variety of nutrients and it all stays fresh. I was impressed that she was so bright and cheerful after just waking up. I need a couple of cups of coffee before I even think of facing the world.

You people are really freaking rude! Quite being so critical!
Wow!

An onion??!!!
she puts the food directly on the cart??
Bell peppers are around $3 everywhere where I live
Can't wait to get paid so I can go food shopping
Thanks for sharing your grocery store hacks!
You eat so little. Is that for a while 7 days? Do you eat only at home?
Hyvee is my go to for seeds and such. They have a decent selection. But sometimes Aldi has a little variety, and it's cheaper!!!
Thanks! Made me realize I don't need a meal plan
One tip you should put your produce in a bag because there are germs on the cart.😀
Emma Wilson With all due respect, your produce is passed through soooo many hands before it reaches you. She will have to wash everything either way.
Emma Wilson also a lot of people don't like plastic bags and feel like it's a waste of resources and pollutes for no reason. I don't use bags when I shop ether, all fresh veggies and fruits should always be washed before consumption anyways

Do American supermarkets not have bags so that u can put your veggies and fruit in? Do they really just throw them in the trolley?!?
Fiona Passiadou They do, I used to live there now I live in France.
But plastic bags are so bad for the environment, just wash your veggies well, I mean I work at a grocery store. Do y’all really need to put those bananas or oranges in a bag lmao, I don’t think you’re going to eat the skin...
