Just ordered. Seems like a great guy at SG Racing. Quick Email answers to my questions literally in minutes. I requested a red grip on the handbrake combo I ordered. Reply was “no problem” with a sample pic to what it would look like. 3 week stated lead time, but for this quality and price it’s worth it by far.
@@wuzumaki I have not received it yet but I have had communication from the person who manufactures it he said I will be receiving it soon I understand of course because it takes a while to make art I will be showing it on my UA-cam channel mounted to a different style shifter mount them Barry did of course I’m not trying to compete with him he is the king I also ordered a unique color combination I got all black bodies with a black grip on the shifter and a red grip on the handbrake
Just installed this shifter and handbrake combo on my rig...have reed switches as well and have not seen the issues come through (hopefully they never will either)..love the combo and the feel of it...very solid. The throw and tension on the shifter are perfect for me. Overall love the unit.
No idea where to write it so I will spam this video. Ser Barry, absolute and ultimate respect for your move with the Fanatec babyDD base. I was absolutely waiting for your review in the chosen-three group, but your decision going for full fat review of a production unit is really masterclass.
Good review. I would add that the holes are not just for styling; in manufacturing it reduces the amount of material used, and it also reduces weight (in this case maybe not a whole bunch but still some).
Have you reviewed the V2 Jinx sequential? If so I’d like to know your comments on this shifter, the Jinx, and the Simworx sequential full size shifters. Also, have you reviewed the Simworx pro series handbrake and can you compare it to another? Like a run down on pedals, rigs, shifters, handbrakes, etc… if you had a top 3 or top 5 list of those type of videos, people would totally be excited! Great video as always!
Got one myself since a couple of months now and it is amazing how good this thing is for the price. Also dealing with them is super easy and they reply to you within minutes, at worst within hours but always same day. I had a DSD Seq. Pro before which is almost twice the price for us in the EU and the Shifter is nowhere near SG RACINGs quality. Not that the DSD is bad, but it should be cheaper than the SG, not much more expensive.
@@mattatkins2128 yeah the shifter is superb. You need to tighten the screws if the clicking goes too easy but apart from that what I really like is it feels like a proper shifter as it sits really strong on the rig, just solid material

@@RVRCloset ohhh, that's so easy... You buy it with the "optional" attachment bracket - drill it with deep enough screws from the Hardware Store. And now it makes the perfect handle to open up your Fridge/Freezer (your welcome MR-VR) 👍😁🔩👍

UK products need badly some kind EU-based supplier/storage where products could then be shipped without stupid taxes/other un-needed addon-expenses. Many companies suffer now in UK 'cause ppl like I here in Finland don't care to order something from UK due those extra fees, which is sad.

Is there any reason why I can’t/shouldn’t replace the springs? I find shifter not having enough tension when it comes to springs. Anyone done it?
