Those two buttons are perfect for ignition and starter.
Good point. Pity MOZA has "labeled" them though. Thought they heard the customer base quite some time ago regarding the issue of customer's individual preference when it comes to "permanently pre-labeled" buttons. 🤔
@@jonproctor3739lol big deal labeled s1 and s2 😂😂😂
That’s exactly what I was thinking!!!
My thoughts exactly when I saw them. Ordered last night can’t wait.
Rally with an F1 wheel!!?!?! This man is a maniac
I can't imagine the struggle in snow rallying 😂
The fact that Mad Mike used this exact model in his (real) McLaren drift car is a huge endorsement.
If you unscrew the 2x5mm bolts either side of the base ... and tape them down... you can get just a very quiet click and "good enough" stiffness.
hi. i am looking for ways to make it quiet. sorry but what do you mean “tape it down?” tia
Preordered this and I cant wait for this to release!
This is awesome I’ve been in the market for a shifter for my Moza rig . I will get one of these👍
Moza has a great system from the looks of it, another great technical review. Thanks much -
I noticed at 8:36 you downshifted twice, yet it only registered once. Have you noticed any issues with rapidly downshifting like that before?
damn just noticed that too… hopefully he says something about instead of trying to save mozas butt about that
That just happened once through my testing. I was being gentle with the shifter, I think it just didn't shift because I didn't push far enough for the hall sensor to register.
@@0spaze410even in real cars if you don’t hit it hard enough or you hit it too fast, it won’t shift.
What mounting plate are you using for your rig to mount the SGP?
Nice thanks. The rally will be more fun with a round wheel 😊
Another con of this combined with the H-pattern shifter is that there’s no way to plug both of them into the wheel base at once. Same goes for the Multi-function Stalks which is standalone-only despite being from the same manufacturer.
I don't want to pay a whole lot for a sequential so this overall look and operation seems like a good value for the price. I'll be picking this up.
Great video!! Which pedals are you using in this video?
Thanks for the review! You mentioned that the cable is too short. What is the length of it?
Wtf why did I not hear about this coming out?! I need one ASAP I wish they made just one shifter so we wouldn’t have to swap the h pattern shifter out
which one
is heavier to shift? hgp moza shifter or sgp moza shifter?
I enjoyed the show and yes...i enjoyed the shirt too. Thank you for the video. Peace✌
Nice review, thanks for the info.
No problem 👍
Been waiting for a moza sequential but im a little disappointed. I thought for sure we would be able to change the handle orientation like with the handbrake.
Got the handbrake mounted vertically on one of my rigs upright stuts, with a plate that had extra holes ready for the shifter. But if i want to use this one im going to have to swap everything around and add the side parts.
Might still buy it and just cut the handle then fab a copy of the handbrake handle.
Has anyone managed to get the R5 bundle, Brooks Ras1ution2 and the SGP shifter to work via a PS5 and Moza hub? I don’t seem to be having much luck, was hoping to use for WRC10. Thanks
the main reason I wanna switch from my Airlogs to this shifter it's because I have a moza base. Because it's the same echo system technically you can use the shifter or the paddle without changing anything in the game settings, can you confirm that both paddle and shifter use the same settings in the game ? It would be nice, otherwise I would keep my shifter. Thanks
Hello there! I would want to use this but attach to my desk because I do not have a setup other than my wheel, my chair and my computer desk... how could I do that? Would it feel too high also? I am confuse as to what solution could I have.
They do sell a desk mount too for the shifter and handbrake it’s around $30 and that’s what I’m gonna use too. Hope this helps 👍
Supposedly if you tighten the bolts on each side at the top where the handle comes up the handle won’t move. Seen on another UA-cam channel
Just preordered mine about 2hours ago
Does autoblip mode work with this?
Love it, me right now 3d printing mods for my th8rs lol.
Could you use it as a handbrake as well?
I guess you could, but I wouldn't recommend it. I would get a handbrake with a pressure system, not an on/off system.
Did you try binding the reverse in EA WRC to that small grip button? Maybe it works there.
I did try that and it didnt work, however Moza says it should. I will be trying agian as this would be a great feature
@@TheSimpit It sure would, hopefully it works out. I saw another reviewer that tested it in multiple games so it should work. Maybe it needs you to connect it with USB directly and not into the base? I know it's dumb it should work both ways but worth a try if the software is an issue between the shifter and the base.
Thanks for another great review I will be picking this one up.
@@TheSimpittry pulling in and shifting down while mapping it? just a suggestion if you haven’t yet
I'd say that's darn good for that price, looks the part too...
7:28 the sound is terrifyingly terrible. Too clicky plastic.
Aaaand Moza just killed the Simagic sequential shifter thats double the price and looks like its made worse.
It's a good shifter for the money but no it's not a high end shifter by any means. So no it hasn't killed Simagic sequential. Get this if your budget is tight and upgrade when you can afford better.
There are reasons for both shifters being the price that they are, comparing the two is just silly.
That click sounds really cheap
The shifter is very solid for its price. But it's down to preference. Some complain that some shifters are too loud and some complain they can be too quiet
Good job moza, first copying Fanatec, now Simagic.🤦♂️
Ah, I see, one company makes something, and you would prefer that nobody else makes it. Unfortunately for you that's not how a free market works. It's a sequel shifter, what would you expect a company to do, to differentiate themselves, or not "copy". Lmao 🤡
Simagic copied other companies with there lever 😂 so learn what you’re talking. You probably play on controller or Logitech anyways
Regardless. When it comes to FANATEC's rapidly declining reputation & their despicable customer service to many, I for one have no issue at all with MOZA or any other company giving them a run for their money.
Especially considering it appears that a fair amount of the money FANATEC has been recently "accepting" from customers has been "obtained" under ... imo .... "extremely SHADY circumstances." @@Tom-w
@@Tom-w I'm not cool with copying someone's work but, if you do, at least do it better, like they did with formula wheel from Fanatec. Even if I dont have a Moza base, was thinking about buying that Fsr wheel, but lets be onest is 100% fanatec copy, is a little to obvious))
@@AdamsRock yeah and I don't see the issue, it's a nice wheel, sold well, why not make one? I won't deal with fanatec anymore, so for people like myself, it's great to have options, to not be stuck with one company. It's like saying well ford makes a 4 cylinder hatchback, now nobody else can make a 4 cylinder hatchback, but if they change a few small things it's fine in your eyes? Makes no sense to me, but, you are free to have your own beliefs, show your disapproval by spending your money elsewhere. That's the beautiful part about a free market, if the majority feels the way you do, the product will fail on its own.
