In LOK i consider Team Avatar to include Korra, Asami, Mako, Bolin, Tenzin, Lin and Jinora. As those characters play a big role in every season.

11:54 "This is hell all over again." I couldn't agree more. Since season 1 I've been really frustrated with Mako only because he just can't be honest with other poeple. He can lie to himself all he wants, but he just doens't have the balls to be honest with other people and face any consequences
How can you be honest with anyone else if you start by lying to yourself?

Gosh I love you, great reactions hahaha I love that you enjoyed the drama w Korra/Mako/Asami when Korra gets back! that moment is really the one I also think (as bad as it is on Mako's part) is hilaaaarious hahaha
I get why you'd be a bit frustrated like 'why are we only seeing Bolin do his best bending now' at this point in the show as I looooove Bolin sm too!! The difference is in ATLA, Aang was surrounded by masters and was only master of one element, whereas in LoK Korra by s2 is master of all the elements but is surrounded by types of people who have personnalities which balance her out. Which is why lots of us are like 'Asami deserves better' but really if you look at Mako it's the same, none of them are masters or actually very useful in fighting by that point: they're all learning and yes they look way less flashy than the old avatar team bc they pale in comparison to Korra. I mean that's also why she acts so impulsively most of the time and a lot of people get annoyed at her for that, but it's bc she has smart and collected people w her who can balance her out that it makes her flawed like all the characters and interesting w lots of potential for growth :))

I felt for Bolin when he talked about Team Avatar falling apart. Compared to the Gaang in ATLA, they're not as close but it makes sense. They all met each other when they were a little older, naturally they would have their own priorities and things they want to do in their lives and that meant not always being together all the time. They're still friends, but that's just the way it goes as we get older.
Bolin was basically the face of the fandom when it came to the love-triangle again lol. And Asami's face man, if looks could kill... Originally I felt bad for Mako but when thinking more on it, if you can't even be honest with other people and face the consequences, you're a coward. Even if he probably meant well with not hurting her feelings again, that's not fair to her or the others involved (Asami ...she deserves better than that 😒).

Dee, I've got to disagree with you on Asami & her dress. She would look good in anything; the dress doesn't make her stunning, she was already astonishing to begin with.
Even after a second viewing, I still want to hide in a hole when Korra runs up & kiss Mako. If the show writers wanted to elicit cringe from the audience, they did a very good job at it.
It was fun watching Bolin reenact the mover to a live studio audience. I can't be the only one who's reminded that Mako & Bo are pro benders every time they fight, right? Like, if it was a style, I could say that was theirs.
