I was so happy when it idled down 😁. I just picked up my mom's '04 1100 classic that my dad turned into a basket case. Mostly together now, but it freaking snowed. Gonna do a cross-country with my daughter, then Bob it. Good luck in your search.
I hear that. It can be a mess when the fenders are gone. I rode this one around for a couple of days without fenders until I was able to get some fabricated from the stock ones.
This is very similar to the future of mine indeed besides I have to keep it a two seater for a passenger because I like chicks and chicks like the ride! Great job with the build!
Thanks. The spike air filter did not come with airflow adapters so using the mounting bracket was useless. I bought another “bagel “ off eBay and was able to adapt the spike to it. There is no paper filter for the OEM and is used pretty much just for restricting airflow coming in from the spike.
All of the hand controls and levers are OEM except the throttle-side lever. I had to replace the master cylinder reservoir and found one (off eBay) that had the lever with it.
@@arpalmer09 from what I remember, there were set screws that held them in. The ones in mine were only about six inches longer by and looked like a kind of aluminum plug.
It’s an off brand I bought off eBay. www.ebay.com/itm/144460769614?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=i7lx74mqRLy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IZ_aRXMIQdi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@miket7884 thanks for that question, "Woldmotop" I think is the company I bought mine from. You can find them here on my affiliate Amazon link: amzn.to/3AVwTWh, but there are other companies that sell an almost identical product. (They are also sold on eBay as well). The only downside to them is that there is no heat resistant paint on the pipes. The reviews blasted them for this but, knowing this, you can use the "high heat" stove paint or even the VHT product, to keep them looking good. That's what I did. Thanks again!
That's a real pretty bobber brother, can you please tell me what kind of Spike air cleaner that is ?? I'd like to get one for my 2011 custom, love all your upgrades,
Thanks. That spike cleaner was one I bought off eBay and I had to modify it extensively for it to work properly. It came with no instructions or different diameter inserts that are supposed to slow airflow to appropriate velocities. It was “wide open” and I finally bought another “bagel” breather and drilled a hole it it about the size of a quarter. I then affixed the spike to the outside of that. I tried many different techniques to slow the airflow down but this was the most successful. I paid about $80 for the spike and thought I was getting a bargain. On the bright side, I still have the original “ABS chrome bagel breather” that came on it.
The only thing I would change is that headlight for one twice as big. Sweet bike!

Nice ... I got an 06 v star bobbed.. love scooting around on it but I got no fenders so I only ride when it's dry...lol.

Always a good strategy👍
the rear fender has a support for a reason lmao throw a rag down for the bitch
2 air filters sick bro! I also like the blue flame details

Beautiful vstar
Cool 🖤
Not a fan of the handler bars, just my preference, but overall absolutely gorgeous bike man
Man where did you get those bars bro I need them
eBay
Nice
DID YOU DO A REAR LOWERING KIT?
hell yeah, looks badass
Where did you get the front turn signal mounting bar/bracket thingy
It was fabricated from the original stock light bar. The LED turn signals were threaded into the existing tube and tacked in place.
Ok cool thanks man
very very similar to my xvs1100, same bars and such for the most part. mine is black and red tho
Did you need to extend cables and wires?
Hmmm ta bien ta bien 👍✌️🤙
👍👍👍👍
Gotta ask where you got the bars from? I can’t find them that have own dimensions to fit
What size is that rear tire bro I have a 2000 V-Star but I want a wide fat look on the rear ran a 170/ 80 15 can I run a 180/ 70?
Where'd did you get the hand controls and levers?

Baffles removed ?
Oh definitely 👍

What kind of exhaust is that?

I was looking for this comment lol I just bought the same ones. I like it dude.
How many inches your handle bar? Great bike
Thanks. They’re the 14s.
I really like that exhaust system I’m looking for that for my Vstar 650
That was an eBay purchase for around $200. It’s similar to the “short shots” only an off-brand
Do know the exact company it was for the pipes?

Se escucha algo raro , es normal ?
The choke was on. And there is definite decel popping which is normal for the way the bike is set up.
Una joya
👍👏😃
Also what manufacturer tire is it?
The tires are Shinko but I'm not sure of the size. It was just the stock size that came on it.
Der Luftfilter ist geil verbaut......eigentlich müsste das so aussehen:
