    This is the best looking Vstar bobber. You made it look like it’s worth a lot more. A lot of people make it look like junk and basically destroy the value. Well done. I’d love to do one like this at some point.

    I named this bike “The black stallion” it’s a beauty!! I have a 2000 Yamaha V Star 650 custom and would love to customize it just like yours man!! Do you happen to have the links on where you purchased the accessories such as the led strip, signal lights, bags, etc!! Just fell in love with that black stallion!!

    The kit is from Blue Collar Bobbers, It came with a 1969 Bullet style rear brake light. Unfortunately is illegal to have in NSW so I bought a LED strip online from Custom Cruisers in USA.

      The number plate holder I got from MCA in Parramatta NSW for about $80, and the LED running light I got from Custom Cruisers in the USA

    awesome awesome job with this build! very clean this design absolutely timeless! I think exhaust wrap is to insulate the pipe so the heat stays inside. This is done not just for rider comfort but keeping exhaust gasses hot does aid in power production. are you building anything else? If so please keep us posted.

      Hi mate, I found the number plate mount at a local bike shop, and got the LED running light strip from a website in the US. Along time ago now so I have no idea. Wish you well with your build

    Can you tell where you got the straps that hold the fire extinguisher?

      The bracket and straps came together with the fire extinguisher. That is part of the reason why are used that particular extinguisher. All I did was expelled the contents, and chopped off the bottom. Then added a plumbers plug

    Really nice build, just wondering about the LED strip, how did you mount it under the fender? Is it the truFLEX brand? did you use the side mount option (extra double sided tape) to mount it?

      I own a 2008 V Star Silverado Classic that I'll hopefully be working on during the winter months. It was stolen a couple of years ago and somehow made it's way back to me. It sustained some damages, but nothing I can't repair or replace. She'll be running and on the road again one day.

    I'm looking for that exact solution for a back light as it's illegal in my country as well. I can't find it on custom cruisers and nothing like it anywhere else. Do you have a link for the light, and I would really like to know how you installed it!

      You should be able to find it on Custom Cruisers still. Email them and ask. I took the back fender off and fed the wiring up through the inside of the fender. A couple of mates who are handy really did a great job on it.

      Christian Ventura ... try www.customecruisers.com. thats where I got it. Its mounted in rather a tricky way. Got a mate who is a cleaver electrical engineer to wire it up and fabricate the mount. took a couple days.
