Ramadan Bazar is packed because people buy food to break their fast every day for a month, not only on weekends. There are other bazaars too. The sauce for the murtabak is onion sauce. The peanut pancake is apam balik, not ayam balik
Taylor and Dylan, congratulations! 1K subscribers pretty soon. Your Ramadan Bazaar video is a success, Malaysian viewers love to see tourists visiting the bazaar n buying food from the vendors. U have tried roti John, murtabak, samosa n kuih bakar pandan, which directly translated is pandan baked cake. U should try chicken satay too, it's yummy. Also biryani rice, grilled chicken or lamb, kuey teow n of course nasi lemak. As for apam balik, if it is not available at that bazaar, U should go to perhaps the bazaar in Bukit Bintang. And don't forget, U must try Ramly Burger, which is way better than Macdonald's burger. U can visit a Ramly burger stall at the end of Jalan Alor in Bukit Bintang which should open from 6.30 pm onwards. And finally don't forget to visit Melaka, about two hours drive south of KL. Go to Jonker Walk night market there which only open during weekends. U won't regret the visit since it is a historical city with a lot of colonial-era buildings, ie Portuguese, Dutch n the British-style architecture.
It's much recommended to hold awhile drinking or eating in bazar ramadan. Just a sign of respect to all sellers and visitors whom still fasting. Welcome to Malaysia. Enjoy ur stay. 😊

Nice to see you get to experience Bazaar Ramadhan at Kampung Baru. Next time if u visit Bazaar again do try "karipap ayam" bcoz u like chicken samosa n sweet dessert called "tepung pelita" 👌
Thank you for being so respectful by eating your food in the allyway. There are many other bazaar ramadan spread throughout the whole country for the whole month until the end of the fasting season. Try to go Putrajaya or TTDI.
Jika anda pergi ke Bazar Ramadan dalam keadaan berpuasa perasaannya akan lebih menarik, Begitu juga jika anda makan makanan tersebut selepas seharian berpuasa akan lebih menarik, Cubalah, 😊
If you saw some comments saying it's not cool to eat in front of fasting people. Just so you know, for me personally. I nevermind about that. Because I'm an adult, of course i can handle myself and why would i force my personal like or dislike on someone else. So eat whenever you want 🙂
There's few other ramadan bazaar accessible via public transport. You can try most of them for every day. 😂 There's one in bukit bintang, if you feel adventurous, there's in wangsa maju, bandar tun razak.
The small plastic packet with pink liquid and onion inside it is the onion pickle. You only eat the onion pickle not the pink liquid. The pink liquid is vinegar. The onion pickle is to be eaten together with the murtabak.
selamat datang. welcome to Malaysia. Its great to see everyone enjoy the bazar. But if you interested, just have proper cloth, ask the mosque if they can allowed to join others break fast in the mosque. Some big mosque just welcome for it. But don't feel bad if not allowed. Some mosque may not prepared for extra.
Every Ramadhan Bazaar has at least one 'Apam Balik' seller. If you can't find them, you aren't looking hard enough 😂 There has to be one at the Bukit Bintang junction bazaar (same side as McD) or Jalan TAR (Tuanku Abdul Rahman) bazaar near the Mydin supermarket.
Why puasa? Because it is one of the the five pillars of Islam: Shahadah: the declaration of faith. Salah: praying five times each day. Zakat: giving money to charity or those in need. Sawm: fasting during the month of Ramadan. Hajj: pilgrimage to Mecca.
One of the reasons Muslims do fasting is to deepen and understand the feelings and conditions of the poor community who live hungry or do not have food. Therefore we will feel grateful to God and want to help the poor community. For example, we will understand how the Gaza/Palestinian citizens feel. So we feel sad and want to help them. Tips for non-Muslims: It's best if you can hide while eating the food you have bought, to respect those people who are fasting. That's how non-Muslims are educated in Malaysia.
Its apam balik, not ayam balik. Ayam means chicken. And the traditional cake that you ate towards the end shouldn’t be torn wt fingers; it should cut wt a knife like a pizza.😊
Glad you enjoyed the food in Ramadhan. But do not eat food when it is too hot. It can crack and damage your tooth enamel. Eventually it will reach the tooth nerve and you will have to do a root canal.
