DELOS 2.0 in 10yrs.... even vagabond is reachimg thier end, next season is darwin, until then we're just scrolling.
Phew. I loved this video more than many others. Every video you surpass yourself. Without highlighting much more than other videos that you have shown the majestic beauty of natural places, it seems brutal to me. I have been amazed seeing how the elders share that ancestral ceremony so that it is not lost. And being able to appreciate the interest and passion of the younger ones who still don't know the dances well. The farewell with Mormor has been super emotional. Really a very intense and impressive video. Keep it up, don't change. You are an example for many of us to follow. We love you, Alex from Madrid, Spain.
I'm a 74 year young grandfather to 5 wonderful human beings. Mormor's departure got me right in the heart. Thank you so much for sharing your family adventures.
Your sweet mom. I was in tears watching her say goodbye to you. You’re so lucky to have her. You can see the love in her eyes when she looks at you and the love she has for her granddaughter. I was in tears.
MorMor is the grandma to 857K Delos subscribers, she is absolutely wonderful. She reminds me of my mother-in-law. She would always place her hand on my face and tell me how wonderful I was and how much she loves me. MorMor, you made me cry this morning . Great episode. Fair winds and cheers
I think all 857k of us cried today with Delos! We will miss you MorMor!!! Glad you had fun! See you in Sweden!! Go visit Ran Sailing!!!! They are close by and maybe Vera can help cheer us up!!
We cried so many times rewatching it while editing....truly heartbreaking 🥺Definitely the hardest thing about sailing, and since having Sierra it's gotten even tougher
Brian, Kazza & Sierra, From island celebration to departure tears. You have pretty much covered the emotional spectrum. Thanks once again for sharing your adventures. Mormor is the absolute best!❤❤❤
I just lost my mother at the beginning of the month. I never cried with you guys when mor mor left. But this time I did. Thank you. Your mother/grandma is as cherished as my mother was by my family.
So sorry to hear that 🥺 But happy that maybe you could feel that spark of love again for her. Sending you lots of love and a really big hug from all of us 💕💕💕
Wow, you're really lucky to see and experience all of that! Island culture, landscapes, sailing. Im looking forward to see that part of the world. Thanks for the video!
I am South African where these ancient tribal events also still happen, what amazes me is how similar they are while being so far apart. its incredible.
Brian your gagging always gets me. I've been with you on every visit. I, too, felt this was the hardest. Sierra, Karen, and Mormors faces broke me. Thanks for sharing.
I'm also prone to gag at foul odours. And having eaten surströmming and knowing what it tastes and smells like, I can relate a lot to Brians challenges :D
LOVED seeing that clip 😂 A surprise gem too since mormor filmed it while we were diving so we didn't see it until now when we started going through all the footage to edit. Priceless 😂
You guys are absolutely the most lovely people and little family ever!! Kazza, your mother is so very special I cry when she comes and when she leaves. Your bond is beyond what most people can understand in life. Cherish it all as you already do. Sierra braking down when Mormor left was heartbreaking. Their love and connection is beautiful! Love to all of you.
Aw thanks so much...having the three generations now of mother to daughter is really such a special time for us. Thanks for sharing in the love, ups and downs with us 💕💕💕
I was enjoying this episode right up to the end . As a 67 yea old male , I rarely shed a tear, but the tears flowed freely when you all said your farewells . I hope Sweden is on your horizon soon , wouldn't it be amazing if you sailed Delos there . Look forward to the next episode .
I have been following your journeys and this episode was amazing. My very close friend Tamara of SV AGAPE Love Dominates was also there at the same festival and sent me photos, but your videos bring it all to life. Found myself in tears when you were saying goodbye to your mom. Much love to you and your beautiful family. Safe sailing!⛵️ 💕🐋
Ohhhh that's so cool you are friends with the Agape crew, what a bunch of legends! And yes that was such a sad moment to say goodbye, but when Sierra started crying like 😭 Thanks for the love and kind words, and so happy you enjoyed this video 💕
What an amazing experience for your mom and daughter and the two of you as well. It was very touching to see the intimacies of your family leaving one another.
Wow. I didn't know I was going to need a tissue for this episode, Your mom's emotions when leaving went straight to my heart. I wish you many rewarding times together in the future. Take care and remember that in order to miss someone, you first have to love them. Focus on your love and the pain of missing will be a little smaller.
Wow, that makes me think of the first time I went to Hawai'i and realized they have an amazing culture. I love to see them dance and celebrate thier hritage. Love it. Thanks.
13 years following SV Delos and the "UNTIL NEXT TIME WE MEET's" are even more emotional...actually brings tears from this viewer's perspective! Thanks for taking us along!

True tribal bonding at its finest. The rest of the world could use the positivity that this brings to teams and groups everywhere in the world today. Awesome!

I have tears streaming down my face. So much love! Sierra crying really got to me. I dont get to see my grandkids very much because they live across the country, so its so special when i do see them. Hugs!
Gang- I've been watching you from the very early days, and I can say unequivocally, that this video is beyond any shadow of a doubt, the FINEST video you have ever made! I don't know where to begin to tell you how entrancing the scenery was - but you went to every length to enhance that with National geo-level photography of their magnificent culture with its engrossing dance, food, clothing and on and on. And the to add in such a fine tribute to MorMor . . . sharing so much of your heart-felt love and respect for one another . . . man, you need to bottle this one up!!
Oh it’s so sad seeing Mormor leave. Being a Mom to adult children doesn’t change how we love our babies and miss them. And, in Mormor’s case, she also loves and will miss Sierra. Of course everyone will miss Mormor also.( made me cry) Safe journey Mormor and Delos. Great video. Thank you.

Thanks!
What an emotional roller coaster of an episode! Thank you!!
Also incredibly educational on the cultures.
This! THIS is why I love your channel and have for several years. Such a rich, cultural experience in Nuku Hiva. To be able to witness firsthand how these people have lived for thousands of years is an extremely rare treat. Despite the efforts of my colonial forefathers, many native cultures still thrive and survive today. Here in S.E. Alaska, the Tlingit and Haida cultures are really robust now and everyone from all races appreciate and respect their place on this land.
Kaza, was hard to see Grandma leave. Made me choke up too! Am ecstatic that she, this late in life, is getting to experience these amazing adventures.
Quite the amazing dive, despite the lack of viz. The colors were really amazing and the variety of reef life was vast and interesting! I'm not sure how you guys continue to up your game with each new video but I'm enjoying the high production values and the amazing scenery.
Dropped back into this channel after a couple years away. Transition from crazy party boat to family channel seems to gone off well. Good to see you're still coming up with new adventures and original content and making progress toward the 'Gold Play Button' plaque.
Incredible video. I love seeing the people and culture of the Marquesa's! My gosh, that good bye with Mor mor was heart breaking. I cried. I cried a lot.
Oh, that was very moving, first the filming of the festival and then when mor mor left to return home, it is so cool the way she comes to you quite frequently. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Luv your openess and your videos over the years. I am a recent loser of my parents that lived good long lives AND have to say that every visit in the last years is now a blessed memory. Keep up the good works.
