    10 Days in and we're at 4,905 views and 325 saves. Our house is listed 1,200,000 and the zestimate is 1,195,000. We've had 5 showings and one tomorrow. Man I hope this translates to a sale soon...

      Sold the following day for 1,050,000. We listed high with the hopes of clearing a mil.

    975 views and 80 saves in 24 hours. Sellers market with an meticulously gorgeous home combined with low starting price!! Houses are going 75-100k over in my area!

    My home has been listed for 5 days has 953 views and 77 saves what does that tell me?

    Listed yesterday close to 900 views. 34 saves. We shall see

      Not bad! Check your ratio at the end of each day and compare.

    I'd love to know what the post-pandemic numbers on this are. A lot of us have come off market due to interest rates but are still "window-shopping" and keeping an eye on the market. I save homes just to get notified when they sell so I can see for how much (and how quickly) in my market. It's still an above asking sort of market here in the Northeast and kind of aggravating how absurd some of these numbers are. Some people up here paying 50-100k over asking like it comes with a live-in chef. 🤣

      Interestingly these numbers have held pretty well, however the past year's boom in demand and limited supply tend to inflate performance numbers for some homes that would never have gotten as much activity in a "normal" market. Zillow’s new Consumer Housing Trends Report shows 48% of homes for sale received three or more offers in 2022. Because of this FSBOs who are inexperienced tend to over-price their home, only to reduce it later or hire an agent. That's not an effective strategy. The most desirable homes are still attracting multiple offers, but we are finally starting to see some home prices being negotiable... something we haven't seen for some time. The days of buyers waiving inspections and outrageous over-bidding may be behind us. Hang in there!

      Every home is different, however presentation, Price and Promotion are the 3 keys to selling. If you aren't getting any bites, chances are there are flaws in one of these three areas.

    Does the same apply to Redfin?

      Redfin is basically a web-based real estate brokerage with a twist. they aren't designed to support for sale buy owners. Similar to Zillow though, they use MLS listings and their high Google rankings to collect leads from buyers. In their case, they distribute them to their own agents. Zillow too has become a real estate brokerage, but they still allow free listings for FSBOs.
