Again another high level class. And I thank you again for that. I am portuguese and this country had Luger guns, before change to the Walther P-38, in the 60s. We had some different models, along the few contracts we had. Most of ours came from the D.W.M. but also Mauser sold some of them to us as well. What a remarkable gun!! It is so good to know that many people with knowledge still have, and take good care of this World History Segments, that this time got here in guns shape!! 1000 thanks for this show
I have the Artillerie Luger ( Ari 08 ) from 1916 , top condition ! This Video has helped me a lot !!! You can see all the functions exactly in detail. I Love the Luger Pistols ! A Piece of History . Also for us Swiss. Is Important that you only Subsonic Ammunition used. Today,s Cartridges are to strong. From all Weapons that i have , i shott with the Luger Preferably ! Thanks for this Video ! Greetings from the Switzerland ✌️😉🫡
Actually, my thoughts after watching this - the Germans over-complicated their design as usual. Too many things to go wrong. I would want to use a simpler design, like Makarov pistol to protect my life.
I have a 1917 Artillery model and the 'pull' required to pull back the toggle seems much more than it should take (judging by videos and movies!). Any thoughts on where I should be looking to correct this? Thanks
Thank you so much, the slide release cover pin had fallen out and I had no idea where it went until finding it in your video

Very nice video, I realized how little that I know about this weapons operation. Thanks Luger Man!
*It's so well calibrated and well thought out, it's fantastic. So far, no better gun has been created.*
