Love these motor's 33 grand great video 📹 fellas nice to see you having a bit of quality time 😀 stay lucky and healthy regards to all at matthewsons keep up the great work 👍 😊❤
I remember working on the drop nose front cars in a body shop 40 years ago when they were nearly new the fitting of the front nose cone was a pain to get right.
I've built a lot of cars and a few bikes over the years. Retired old duffer now. Ford RS fan. But never owned one of these. If I got my hands on one of these with no interior and in need of metalwork. I would build a Zakspeed replica.
I think because it’s not perfect and not race prepared, plus the fact that they have dropped a bit in price £15k. It’s a great little runabout for someone.
They are not making what they were a couple of years ago. The backend of the classic market has dropped right out . And it’s not like it hasn’t done it before over time .
The unique nosecone with 4 cibie lamps insured the model stood out from the rest of the escort range, any that was converted to flat front devalues the car
Back in the 1970’s these weren’t worth very much at all and the basic 1.3 models were talked up as great but, they were as basic as the vans were with no performance at all.
Great video, but i totally hate how you all go leaning all over the cars, and at one point tapping the strut tops with the keys, welcome to scratch city, and you claim to be car people
Great video. Nice to see the three of you together..👍👍
Great way to end a day watching you guys ❤ love it
Best anti-dive kit was 2 flat bars welded together and an extra bracket in the centre. Made them twitchy as hell but great fun.

Hi Jack Ford did make a flat fronted R/S 2000 if you can find one. I don’t know how many they make but I have seen a few
They never made a flat front, any you've seen will have been converted by owners. Plenty were back in the day.
I'm gonna go f0r £18,400

In the 1970s these were quite expensive to buy new or secondhand, it was in the 90s they weren't worth much
