    If you work with these keyboard people and see this, PLEASE HELP!!!! I swapped to a low profile keyboard with corsair about 3-4 years ago due to issues with rheumatoid arthritis. The shorter keys, lower to the desk keyboard, better angle, and shorter key presses were a god send. I literally doubled my play time on games and typing. But ive gone through one of these keyboards and got a replacement and corsair has stopped making them. Every other brand has almost stop producing these low pro keyboards. No other makers as far as ive found make short keys with short key strokes along with a built in wrist rest and lower keyboard position to match this. I just wish someone would follow in the k65 low profile's shoes. Every other keyboard ive tried that is lowpro well at least like the 2 ive seen. Have all been crappy keys like laptop keys with no shape and flat. that makes typing even harder. the curved way most gaming keyboards angle their keys is actually beter and i feel i have to move my finder less distance than one thats just super flat

    Which is better for typing? I hear people saying tactile is better since you don't have to push bottom compared to linear which makes it less tiring than linear. On the other hand, some people say that linear is better because it is smooth and doesn't have the bump so it is less tiring than tactile. Which one is more practical for typing?

    • @kineticlabskb
      @kineticlabskb  10 місяців тому +1

      Hey! Most people bottom-out (fully press) switches, but there are ergo switches made specifically to help avoid bottoming out while typing, such as our Penguin tactile switches (currently out of stock but coming back soon). Most people don't an ergo switch unless they're experiencing finger pain, so I'd say the next best thing would be any switch with a heavy (long) spring that pushes upward as you press the switch to help soften the bottom-out :)

    Which one is better for doing precise, near pixel perfect inputs like for fighting games like Brawlhalla? Linear or tactile? I mean i want switches that are very easy to press and sound thocky/good but also very accurate and fast with minimal input lag.

    • @Missingnin69
      @Missingnin69 5 місяців тому

      All keyboards have relatively the same input lag/polling rate. It won't really matter. The pole length might affect how soon the switch actuates after physically pressing it - so "long pole" switches which as also pretty loud and lower pitched might be what you're after. On the other hand, hall effect boards like the wooting 80 and wooting 60 have hall effect switches that are said to be better for some competitive gamers due to their adjustable actuation points and features like rapid fire trigger, but subjectively they don't sound as good to me as non-hall effect switches.
