Imagine being a Soviet regular after hearing about the dreaded Finnish ghost soldiers when suddenly out of nowhere a lone Finn skiing madly with a crazed look in his eyes rockets into camp and zips past. As a Swede, I always think that the Swedish conquest of Finland and the following ordeal was akin to a man finding and capturing a wolverine and then deciding to try and forcefully domesticate it. Tried it ... didn't work. Thankfully today, we at least have a good natured rivalry and some mutual love and respect for each other. Sending some of that love and respect to all my eastern neighbors reading this :)
