My friend had a conversation with spider-man he saw in a tree.

Lance-corporal opened fire on the enemy while out on patrol. Swears to this day the tree stumps were actually helmets of SOF-Operatives laying on the ground.
i would say more confused then anything. once the fear and adrenaline of realizing that he was surroundes by armed enemies kicked in he likely snapped back to reality for a little as adrenaline does that. he was also going in and out of his senses at that moment because the peak of the drug effects had already worn off. otherwise he would had completely blanked memories of being chased as he had literally no recollection of the first day of the trip when he just wandered off nearly a 100 kilometers to a randon direction before collapsing.
the peak of the effects worn off after about a day, as he claimed nearly no recollection of events few minures after taking the pills and helping his men escape. afterwards, he started snapping in and out of it due to the lingering effects of the very high dosage still running on his system. the fact he was dehydrated and nearly starving throughout this whole crazy adventure is what helped the effects to last so long, he didnt had anything for his body to wash the meth out.
