There is a ship builder that comes with the large cargo link when outpost building. Wouldnt all the ship parts be available there if you build that. Ill have to check it out. But that would save you a ton of time from taveling back and forth.
Cool ship but I feel it needs engines lower down at the back somewhere, looks like it wouldn’t realistically have enough thrust to power it. Plus it just looks odd not seeing fire coming from the rear 😅
I just wish there was an option to have stairs instead of ladders, much like the cockpit area of this ship. Even if it is just a 1x1 hab for the stairs, I would be happy. In some habs, the ladders are placed in odd places at times. And when side by side, the doors in some habs can make for too much of a labyrinth, and can even show up as broken in some way. For example, putting a couple of the Strauss habs together put the door right where a table was located. And the only path from the entrance to anywhere else in that build had to go through that table.
@@sharazar I agree. Also, there should be an option to add a glass floor. We can add windows and skylights. Why not glass floors? Would be cool in my opinion.
@@sharazar Indeed. And speaking of customizing indoors, it would be nice if in the base building that one could add walls and have furniture snap straight.
My only criticism is that back 2 by 1 on the build would be a much better place for a reactor and grav drive. Inside the ship makes it nearly impossibble to hit.

Not bad for the cargo. Mine is just over 12000 with a crew space of 7, and all the crafting on board too. Weapons are tidy as well. I used the Star Eagle as the starting point, then, keeping the brig as well, went to town and ended up with what I've got.
@jameshughes-duckworth7333 the mess has one but that's a 3×3 hab. I'm sure there's a smaller one though. I ended up putting two mess habs in and can't be arsed to change it now. When I get on in a bit I'll check. But the mess has the kitchen.
honestly, i wish there would be a way to share ships without requiering using pre-existing save, using a controller the ship building seem to be missing the attach key, so i can't seem to only get parts starting from those spesific connection points.
A loading bay with a steep ladder is so incredible unfunctional. Loading is done under gravity and carring all the goods thru a small hatch is... not so smart. The perfect ship only has a steep ladder to the docking hatch since it's a process without gravity. Ladders to the sleep cabins of the crew would also be acceptable I guess.
Awesome build, but ONLY 8 mobility at the end??? Also wish they would actually make the armory worth while... Every time you go into build mode you loose everything from the armory into inventory even if you just change out weapons

Horizon Forbidden West’s Shell Snapper, turned into a space ship. Could you do a Rocinante build??
Another gorgeous sculpture. Your talent is amazing. I think a Buffalo would make the most use of that pattern.
Might I suggest when making ship build videos you add in a clip of how it actually does in battle against groups of lvl 30+ enemies?
There is a 2-level cockpit with stairs and I think someone managed to get no ladders (Except for dock/landing) with it.
They should allow you to go first person and move thing or add from the interior to customize the habs. or move ladders and doors.
Just come across your video love the look can’t wait to get deeper into starfield and build this ship
My only criticism is that back 2 by 1 on the build would be a much better place for a reactor and grav drive. Inside the ship makes it nearly impossibble to hit.
that is a BULLFROG ship
I would go so far as to call it "Battletoad."
The Bloated Pelican
Too bad you dont have a list of what everything ya did use posted. So i have to go to all the diffrent star yards to just buy the peoces so i have them to use? I was trying to figure out how to get all these parts you have
Me too
Is that 8 mobility really that impactful in combat compared to 50 or 100 mobility? I would have like to see a bit of space battle. PepeHands
Honestly? Not at all, I notice my faster smaller ships can weave about like crazy where this thing doesn't. However the moment anything is in range of this ship it gets annihilated within seconds :D
Mobility don’t matter when you have automated weapons. Just be as close to them and you’ll pretty much kill any of them.
It's a tank.
@@ynsigniaYeah sounds about right.😂
I will definitely build this, alien series I really liked, the other is ok. That's very cool. I want someone to do a a Kepler r remake 😊. Ty for the video
It's beautiful! How do you make use of those circle connection points? I've watched lots of ship building videos and no one has explained how they work?
It looks like a mini RAZA...from Dark Matter.
Nice.
I friggin loved that show! Was devastated when it got canceled.
Pls do more of these I love these tutorials so much
I wanna make a metal gear build & this is the closest I've seen so I will b building this when I get off work tonight! 😂😂
Would be super helpful to provide where you can get all these parts honestly
this is mental, great work
Cries in 8 mobility. I like my cargo ships in the 50-70 mobility range. But nice froggy design.
Not bad for the cargo. Mine is just over 12000 with a crew space of 7, and all the crafting on board too. Weapons are tidy as well. I used the Star Eagle as the starting point, then, keeping the brig as well, went to town and ended up with what I've got.
Which hab do you use to get a cooking station?
@jameshughes-duckworth7333 the mess has one but that's a 3×3 hab. I'm sure there's a smaller one though. I ended up putting two mess habs in and can't be arsed to change it now. When I get on in a bit I'll check. But the mess has the kitchen.
LOVE the look, but only 8 mobility??? LOLz Wonder if could just add more engines to get mobility up? Cool build.
Wicked stuff matey thank you!
honestly, i wish there would be a way to share ships without requiering using pre-existing save, using a controller the ship building seem to be missing the attach key, so i can't seem to only get parts starting from those spesific connection points.
If they had that ship in the Human Covenant Wars they would have won that war.
I really need them to add Carriers/ Capital ships so we can have huge cargo hub ships/ carriers and then take out drop ship down to the surface
Dude I’m looking all over for that cockpit. Where in Sol did you get it?
A loading bay with a steep ladder is so incredible unfunctional. Loading is done under gravity and carring all the goods thru a small hatch is... not so smart. The perfect ship only has a steep ladder to the docking hatch since it's a process without gravity. Ladders to the sleep cabins of the crew would also be acceptable I guess.
“No cargo space” …. THROW YOUR CRAP on the floor in a storage hab !!! Unlimited storage for free. Smh people are crazy
what a chonk of an absolute unit!
Awesome build, but ONLY 8 mobility at the end??? Also wish they would actually make the armory worth while... Every time you go into build mode you loose everything from the armory into inventory even if you just change out weapons
Btw, the reactor is a level 49 piece and the engines are level 50. gotta find substitute until that level is reached.
Crazy Build m8! But it sucks so bad that some parts like the grav drive are just become availible in the late game! 😡
Definitely needs a top tail fin. For the name: Sol Space Bullfrog, maybe just the Bullfrog? The Susu Special? (look her up)
You said it looks like a frog and i see that, I have a ship name for it. "Quantum Leap"
Great build and content.
Made this with the Mantis prefix and it was fun but now no one wants to fight 😢. Gonna have to remake it, so I get actual use lol.
Can you list where you got all of the parts you used? Like each shipyard and then list the weapons you used? Thanks
Where are you building this at? Is it a space port or a custom built one at ur outpost on a planet?
I think on a outpost but idk how he have acces to all part
Love the ship size and capacity , but it would be difficult to manover in a fight.
Idk why but the only thing that comes to mind seeing this is big mech turtle with wings, like it came from a show called Zoids
The maneuverability is horrendous, but it looks good
beautifully done, and very creative, I cant build a 5 piece ship, I get lost
We need a elevator mod. Like a mini lift platform replaceing the ladder just stand on it and it will take u either up or down
I love it, but the thumbnail made me think of squirtle 😁
Sucks I don’t have access to the 2 crimson fleet quest items anymore since I sided with uc. Now I only have one ship really worth building, they need a mod so we can get access to this again
You can't lie there's a bit of Thunderbird 2 in there too.
it looks cool, but it only has -8- mobility? That will make it turn slower than a planet.
this is nice and all but where are you that the builder has all of these parts ready to use? i have an outpost and class c ready but dont see nearly all the parts you have in yoru building list?
Absolutely gorgeous, but mobility though. How many light years does it take to turn? lol
This looks like the tanks from Ghost in the Shell love it
You can build a cargo ship and fill it up full then switch to a ship with less cargo space, just wont be able to pick anything more up.
I can't seem to find the engines anywhere ... I have maxed out piloting and ship design, but still only see the Nova 1040 engines at every single vendor/shipyard I've been to :(
