  • Here I return to the property that I ground stumps on and installed a shed pad to install a new lawn. I had to grind one more stump and then made use of the harley rake to churn up and grade the yard, and then came in with the landscape rake to final grade and clean up!
    Equipment Used:
    Skid Steer/CTL: 2021 Bobcat T66
    Harley Rake: Bobcat 6' Soil Conditioner
    Power Rake: Bobcat 5B Landscape Rake
    Stump Grinder: MTL Attachments X-series XG24 Stump Grinder

    Great job man. Always learn a lot from your videos, and enjoy your video production efforts. As a part time earthworks guy that works in tech FT, I appreciate the balancing act as well.

      Thanks! It certainly is a tough balance, had to cut back on how much landscaping work I have been taking. Just overwhelming!

    Great Job! I learned a lot just from watching your video. Watching your movements and techniques on the machinery opened my eyes to the capabilities of good controls. That harley rake would be a life saver on some compacted soil. looks like it could turn a wasteland into a farm!

    Nice work. When you said landscape rake. That wasn’t what I expected. Works good

    That harley rake is fantastic, wow that looks great, there was some nice soil under that weak grass and moss, the grade looks great. I gotta say, that`s a good looking shed they built. That bob cat and attatchments sure gets the job done, it seems all you need to start a bussiness doing residential, I see they have the mulch head for it to, so you can grind up smaller trees and brush clearing and you don`t need a monster truck or trailer to haul it around.

    Great done. Would be great to see how hydro seeding works. we don't have so much of that here in Norway.

    Are you not concerned with tracking over a drain field?

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  5 місяців тому +1

      The ground pressure is low enough on these machines that tracking over established drain fields is generally a non-issue. I do always avoid tracking over septic tanks, as those can break if they are compromised or weak.

      I generally work alone. When my dad has time and the job needs a second person, he helps out.
