Hi guys. I'm working with some new software, so the editing is a bit choppy today :). BTW, one correction in my video - Bioderma sells one of these every 3 SECONDS and not minutes!!
Note: Bioderma *popularized* micellar water, they didn't invent it. Micellar water dates back to early 1900s France... Bioderma introduced its micellar water in the 1990s
They both have a cult following. However, Bioderma has less ingredients that's why is less irritating. I didn't get chance to try Garnier with the pink cup but I did try one with a blue one - waterproof version. It did it job and remove makeup.
From what I see in your video, the Bioderma got a considerable amount more of your eye makeup off than the Garnier did. I have never used micellar water in my life. Just got a bottle of Bioderma yesterday on the advice of a dermatologist who has tried many brands. The largest size bottle is much more economical than the smaller sizes.
Bioderma is definitely the best. They invented micellar water after all. I only use Garnier because it costs less. You've made the right choice. And getting the larger size is the best way to go. I know you will love it!
@@Fifty-sense $1.43 an ounce or 73 cents an ounce....that's the difference between the largest & smallest size. Wow. Hefty difference ! So far I like it. I have nothing to compare it to, not having ever used any....but thank you . I appreciate your response very much.
@@patwagner9308 That is a huge difference in price! It makes so much sense to buy the large one. I know that you don't have anything to compare it to, but you are using the best so no need to compare! xx
I'm a die hard Bioderma fan but gave Garnier a try. I used the green version for combination skin. Despite the more attractive price point, Garnier just doesn't compare. It felt so dry, pulled my skin and leaves my eyelids irritated and red, whereas Bioderma is much more gentle and hydrating in my opinion. I'll use up the bottle since I hate wasting products but I'll go back to Bioderma.
Please do a video on face cleansers for over 45, at 68 and especially over 50, regardless of your skin type, I am oily/combo, your face becomes dehydrated, and you want a gentle, yet thourgh cleansing!
Hi Joseph. I have done a video on my nightime cleansing routine. I have the same skin type as you (oily/combo/dehydrated) and I use the Avene lipid replenshing oil to take off makeup, followed by the Avene Trixera nutrition gel. Both are very gentle but effective. I would highly recommend them!
I've been using bioderma and Uriage for many years. Anything else dries out my skin or causes breakouts or rash. I had run out and decided to give the Garnier a go and it burned my eyes and made my skin oily and break out. I have sensitive dry skin.
Patricia Sanchez My skin is also super sensitive and argues about absolutely everything. I have never tried Garnier but settled on a LaRoche-Posay micellar gel and that works fine. Thanks for your recommendation!
Thanks for the feedback Patricia. That is so interesting to know. It would explain why the Bioderma is more expensive. It obviously has superior ingredients x.

I have since learned that Bioderma is infact way superior. Well they did invent micellar water after all!!

Bioderma is definitely the superior of the two. I only use Garnier as it's much more affordable.
