No way...I bought Taupe just last week. I had you in my mind as I walked in the store. I had actually been looking for a MAC foundation, but found Taupe and fell in love. In the 90s, Estee Lauder was my go-to. Simpler times indeed.

Thank you for sharing. I am a MAC junkie especially lipsticks. I love red but am leaning towards the pinkish shades now. I am a 67yr old with white hair. I would take my transition colour on my lid a bit higher to blur out my hooded lid. I love your videos and I am also a Clarins facial treatment user.
I love a bit of Clarins too! I do love pink shades as well. This was my "go to" look in the 90s, before UA-cam. When I started watching UA-cam, makeup got more complicated! But I love the simplicity of this look. I'm also a Mac junkie, especially their lipsticks and blushes xx
Hi Sue a very sophisticated look and something a “normal person” would feel comfortable wearing 😂. I love makeup and have been buying, trying and having fun with it for forty years now. Unfortunately much as I do love it the very ultra glam colourful makeup sported by most content creators is far more than I would wear ever (never mind on a daily basis 😂). I like a soft makeup on my more mature skin and no matter the trend that’s what I wear most of the time. If I have a party or event I will wear something a bit more glamorous, but I am a jeans girl for everyday. I’m still a rock chick and biker but a smoky eye now is a party look for me and not everyday. In the warmer weather I always feel less makeup looks better in bright sunlight and I lighten up my look even more in Summer (I live in Scotland so it’s Summer here 😂((or at least as much good weather as we get))). I love the artistry of several shades of eyeshadow etc, but I am not going to the shops etc with all that on my eyes 😂. I’m all for women our age wearing makeup that they love however much or little that may be, but I think many women are more comfortable in a softer look for their lifestyle too. Best wishes x
Hi Loraine! This was all I wore in the 90s and early 2000s, pre UA-cam. Then when I started watching yt, makeup became so much more complicated! I started using more colour and experimenting with brighter lip shades. However, I do love the simplicity of muted colours, especially as I'm older now. And yes, I agree about the sunlight making things look harsh. Nevermind the fluorescent lighting in an office. I'm not sure which is worse! It's inevitable that our makeup style changes as we age. I wish I could still be content with a slick of mascara and a lip balm like I was in my 20s, but I just love makeup too much! Xx
Except for your “extra” glittery Marilyn Monroe look the other month, I think most makeup you wear is suitable for work. It makes my day when a I see people wear great makeup to work! It’s more about positivity than beauty.
I would like to see if you can do a makeover in under 5 minutes, as my challenge is getting out of the door on time. Dare you to time it! On occasions I don’t have time for makeup, I wear a green primer which deceives people into thinking I have lovely skin.
I will try the challenge! Not sure I'll make it though! I have some green primer. I'm going to see if it works on me and if I get any comments on my skin!!
You might be a different color. You could be lavender, peach or rose. On my worst days, it’s a life saver 🛟

@@Fifty-sense I wonder if it's similar to an old Bobbi Brown blush I still have a tiny bit left of called Sandstone - and I loved. And thanks for reminding me about Teddy - I need to get that out and use it!
