Hi Cyril, Thank you so much for taking the time out to send me a comment and that you enjoyed my little piece. Have to say that I very much enjoyed doing it. Being an engineer of old, I have a soft spot for sine waves. Since that work, I found out how to blend watercolor pencils using solvents and it had really transformed the vibrancy of everything. Here is the link if you want to see ua-cam.com/video/nguDl_mnL8A/v-deo.html Cheers for now, Oliver
Hi Ron, Yep - get out there and just try it - when it doesn't work quite right, try and learn from it. Sound like you've been at the art for some while? Oliver
Never ever say you’re useless at anything. Trust me on that. Watercolour pencils work pretty much the same way as the paint version from what little I’ve seen. You say the colour down then use a wet brush to move the pigment around. Like anything else, practice is key. Watch some videos.
Hi Ron, Thanks for the advice - unfortunately I found watercolor pains equally difficult. But, as you say - practice is the key. Thanks again for the comment Oliver
Thank you Oliver very very interesting

You’re right, never give up. That’s the important thing about going outside your wheelhouse. You don’t expand your skillset, you don’t grow.
