I cannot wait for the new editions to the Tolsta range, as soon as they are out, I'm purchasing!! You are such a generous designers, there are a few out there that should take note and should feel embarrassed. Keep up your wonderful work, you are an inspiration x

Rebecca, I do really enjoy your attention to detail regarding your patterns! For me it means a designer that’s really considering her audience and the knitting experience as well as a great fit! Thank you for that! ClaudiaSJI

Rebecca, I’ve been following you since day one. You’ve grown so much in your craft. I think I’ve said before that your brain is amazing to me. I’m exhausted when I hear of all you have going on, plus future plans plus life! Mind you I’m 68 and exhausted most of the time anyway. 🤪. Can’t wait for the sanna cardigan - lace is my jam 😊. Wish I could give you a hug, make you a cuppa and have you just sit and rest. Your mum must be so proud. 🤗🇨🇦

Loved catching your podcast this sunny afternoon ensconced on the couch with my current wip. Returned from a week of sailing around Ponui, Waiheke and Rotoroa Islands yesterday and love sitting on deck at sundown wrapped in my handknits, supping a G&T. Highly recommend 😊

That is honestly the most beautiful vest! My sister and I will be visiting Scotland in November and my plan is to find the pattern in a local yarn shop, buy Scottish yarn, and create a special souvenir from my once in a lifetime trip. I can't wait!

Bound off my Tolsta Tank Vest while watching and not considering ordering the drops belle in hot pink! I’m loving this yarn and just want to do all the summer knits in it.
Also I’m so used to your videos and the cadence of your speech. But my mom saw the intro and was like uhhh what did she just say? 😂😂😂

I love the orange vest! Is there any way to knit it, and avoid steeking? The 11th commandment “Thou shall not steek?”

  • @divinelyengineered

I'm approaching the part on my Lanark where I join in the round. I'm curious when you say "knit inside out," is the stitch repeat the exact same? You just have the WS facing you instead of the RS? I'm debating starting it like that to see which way I match gauge the best.
Also, I'm using the same yarn as you, and I love it! It's so rustic, but it's going to be a wonderful outer layer (I hope)!

Scheepjes does indeed mean little boat or little ship. So many people pronounce it sheepies 😅 I wish I could get as much knitting done as you do but you always inspire me to pull out projects and crack on with them.

I LOVE THE KIP. An idea for sleeves, if you’ll allow… you could do a faux seam by slipping a single stitch one row, knitting it the next. Should look like your lateral braid, but vertical. That way you can break the pattern and do decreases while keeping the style. Just a thought! Can’t wait to make it
