I think the blue of the Sanna is so nice on you!
The blue Sanna looks amazing on you! Looking forward to the Tolsta KAL- sounds like fun😊
Thank you!!
I for sure am ready for hard-to-pronounce Gaelic names! Also the idea to knit a long sleeved Tolsta... Very good!
Coincidentally, I just finished the first six Bridgerton books (I never thought I'd read them, tbh) and look forward to seeing how the show compares. I watched about 4 episodes already and did feel like Shondaland did a better job with the non-romantic relationships so far (like Eloise and Penny's friendship, the Bridgerton family dynamics) AND the diversity is just so refreshing?? My hopes are high, lol.
Wishing you the best of luck and success in finding a book that relights your joy in reading :)
Yes! Totally agree. The characters feel like they have much more depth on screen than the books. I forgot just how short some of the books are!
This royal blue colour is absolutely fabulous on you!
Contratas, Rebecca. You did it again! Sanna rocks ❤
You are such a joy to knit with, I love watching your creations come to life! Blue era is fabulous! Love ALL your patterns, wish I had more arms so I could knit ALL the gems! Happy Sailing⛵️
I was impatiently waiting for it. I just bought the Sanna Cardigan pattern. Woot woot!!! I can't wait to start knitting.
Thank you and have a fantastic day
😁🤗
Hope you enjoy it!
I love your blue era! All of the different shades you showed are beautifully flattering for you.
Thank you so much 🙂
Lovely patterns . And enjoy the inspiration you give to us . Thank you
Every time I see your Kip Sweater I love it even more!!! Will apply for the testknit for sure!! I'd also be more than happy to make some swatches for you in different yarns if you'd like 😊
I have loved being part of the Tolsta tank test group. Thanks so much for having me!
I am now knitting a Lauder and completely in love with it!! I can see why you made so many samples!
Same! I definitely need to watch out for the tester call, I often miss them because I'm not online much on weekends. I have never been chosen to test knit for Rebecca but hope to get lucky eventually. The Kip just looks sooooo cool.
Just love all the knits you’re putting out these days, but I’ll be totally honest…… I don’t enjoy knitting bottom up. It’s just confusing for me and hard to try on for fit. But fear not I’m totally going to knit the TOLSTA and join the knit along when you have one. I have a cold right now too so know you’re in good company! Get well soon, Rebecca. ClaudiaSJI
You are on fire, Rebecca. I LOOOOVE that polo shirt!
Can't wait for the Tolsta KAL!
Love the Lunan! I will defo be knitting one. I’m thinking a long sleeved one will be the perfect Autumn/Winter layer - I really fancy a round neck with the placket but not the collar, giving a Henley vibe. Maybe even a few tiny buttons! Can’t wait!
Yes!! It would work so well.
I am going to knit matching Lunan’s for myself and my husband! Congratulations on the Sanna! It is gorgeous❤
So looking forward to your next podcast about your South Island, New Zealand trip, Rebecca! It's winter here in New Zealand now, knitted cowls weather!
Hi Rebecca, love your podcast. I had to order the Sana cardigan immediately, so beautiful! Thank you and I am looking forward to your next update.
Hi Rebecca, the weather here has been horrendous. That's fabulous that youvaw, someone wearing your Sanna cardi walking down Leith walk, amazing 😊Your patterns are popular which is great news. I love the Sanna pattern, been waiting for this one .I have just purchased it and took advantage of the 15% discount, which is great. Love all your patterns and also love that you give choices when knitting your designs. I fancy making another Tolst, looking forwards to the KAL. I hope you feel better soon xx
Rainy spring crazy weather on south west coast of Canada.. Been waiting for the Sanna to come out. Yahoo! Thank you thank you ❤
The rain has kicked in this afternoon here too!
Love the Sanna. Bought the pattern. Off to sort through my stash for yarn. Love the fluffy blue long sleeve Tolsta and the amazing looking slip stitch herringbone design, both on my list for the future. Thank you for your gorgeous designs and inspiration. Linda, Kent, UK 💕🧶
Thanks for the reminder! I was just tossing my current project in a bag so I can knit at the doctor's office and forgot the needle stoppers. It's slippery yarn, but crisis averted. Thanks!
Hi Rebecca, so sorry you are under the weather.
Sanna is gorgeous, both versions. I can't wait to make one.
You are really keeping me inspired and busy😁. Your designs are great for everybody, and every body.
Thank you
After 4 days of grey on and off drizzly days here in nz. Today is a sunny but still cool autumn day. Lots of knitting been worn here.
I need to learn lace because I’m in LOVE with the Sanna!!!
I want to drop everything I’m working on and cast on the Sanna in that beautiful blue right now. I’m obsessed!
I hope you're feeling better soon.
I love the Sanna, it's on my todo list for sure, but I want to finish my Corran first, I don't want too many lace projects at once!
Looking forward to the long sleeved Tolsta with bust shaping, can’t wait for the release / KAL🙂
Thanks for another fun episode Rebecca!
Already bought the Sanna Cardi while watching your video. Super excited to start on knitting it. Also looking forward to your Lunan and Kip pattern. I find it very inspiring and can't wait to see what you come up with next!😍
The blue Sanna looks great good color for you
Hope you feel better and enjoy working on sail boat
Loving your knits. Just bought the Sanna Cardigan pattern and am going to see if there is a Dk that will work as 10 ply is a little heavy for Adelaide. Loving the progress on your Kip. Love the texture so much. Thankyou for another inspiring episode 😊
Great podcast. I’m from Northern Ireland ,my daughter in law is from Peterhead amazing beaches in Aberdeenshire. Love the Sanna cardigan.
I'm sorry you have a cold, but thank you for posting. It's always super inspirational to hear you talk about your designs, yarns and your knits. That blue Sanna looks AMAZING on you!!! Gorgeous color! I'm glad you're embracing blues 😊 I haven't bought the Tolsta pattern yet simply because I have so many patterns that are begging to be done. But I know I'll get it just because your joy when you talk about it (plus the version and yarn options) is infectious. Feel better soon!
(It's hot here in the southeastern U.S. so I've been knitting socks, hats and bandanas...t-shirts are coming😊)
Loving ALL your patterns Rebecca. Have you ever considered publishing a book of all your patterns so far?
Beautiful lace design Sanna cardigan. Soooo looking forward to the Tolsta long sleeve. 😍
I have finally bought the contrast colour and ordered the main colour to make the Kerr Sweater - I live in New Zealand and have just be to our annual yarn festival in Kumeu. One of the reasons that I am drawn to make the Kerr is that I have Scottish DNA in my bloodline, On my paternal side I have Cunningham, Kerrs, and Lyon, and on my maternal side I have Cruickshanks.... and I am looking forward to the colourwork.... - Michelle
Congratulations with the Sanna release! 🎉 The blue color sample looks very nice on you.
Thank you so much!!
I knew the sanna was going to be gorgeous but it is way too hot to be wearing wool on the east coast of the US (it’s been 89F for the last two weeks in my city 🪦) so I planned to just admire and watch the rest of the podcast. But that blue is so gorgeous I was sold before you even started talking lol. I will def have to try snd rummage through my stash for some linen or maybe some bamboo? And make a short sleeve version asap! But while I was watching I was working on a mini norn from Pom Pom for a friend’s toddler and thought I would recommend the yarn to you as part of your blue phase. It’s Hobbii’s Baby Cotton which is an organic GOTS certified Egyptian cotton and I’m using the color #35 Dutch Blue. It’s a great yarn and I’m holding double to get perfect DK gauge. It’s like $5/50g 170m. It’s probably the nicest cotton that I’ve ever worked with if I’m being honest. Another random ass rec but if you’re looking for something new maybe try school spirits on Netflix. It’s apparently based on a graphic novel but I can’t find them anywhere. Not a new book but I think it’ll def get you through a body. Can’t wait for next episode and to start my new sanna! 💜
Wow, that white Sanna t shirt looks amazing on you. What a beautiful delicate design.
Thank you so much!
I love the lunan polo top, it looks like it has lots of interesting techniques in it. I looked at the knitting for olive cotton merino and it looks lovely but it’s a fingering weight so are you thinking of using it double or making a fingering weight version with it? I think I would be doing 4 ply one cos even though I live in UK, being a woman of a certain age I don’t get hot anymore! 😁. I would like to apply to test knit but the next 7 weeks is a bit busy for me to be sure of finishing it in time (especially in 4ply!). So maybe I will apply another time for something else. I love your designs and your podcast ❤
I can't believe how productive you are, Congrats !
I just deprioritise literally anything that isn't knitting, oops!
Beautiful projects! 😍 I hope that you feel better soon. 🤧
Love the lunar polo! Looking forward to the long sleeve version for a fall/winter transition garment.
Already have my yarn picked out for a tolsta tank! That being said, I have low yardage, so we will see how cropped it ends up 😂
Incredible projects. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you! Already feeling better
Congratulations on the Sanna! It’s beautiful-can’t wait to knit it! (En beterschap! 🤧💝)
Love all the blues!
Love your patterns. I think you look fantastic in your bright blue and other rich/ deep colors. Summer knits for me, if they are dk, have to be cotton/linen.
I can’t wait till the Tolsta tank is released 🎉
The jewel tone blue is your color would love the short sleeve lace cardigan due you provide writing instructions I cannot do charts which means missing out on a lot of lace patterns please consider those of us knitters that hate charts
The lace repeats are written out in the pattern and the shaping instructions are only given in written instructions. The charts are there to support, but they're not the primary method of instruction.
@@the.creabea Yeah that means a lot next new cast on just got new shipment of yarn from Wool warehouse. Thank you
I find mohair and some sticky wool fibres clog up my sinuses. Could be that micro fibres are keeping your head feel stuffy. Just a thought.
Cool new pattern. This is totally off topic, but I was watching an old episode and I have decided to make the Stockholm Sweater by Petite Knits. Do you know if you used the recommended ease or less? Thanks!
Ooh I might have to make a red fluffy long sleeve lunnan as my Christmas jumper!
That would be DREAMY
I’ve been thinking about knitting a Tolsta for a while so a KAL would be lovely ❤
If you're running out of Scottish beach names, may I humbly suggest some Nova Scotian beach names since we're New Scotland over here 😂 Cape Breton specifically has lots of Scottish names!
i love the lace of the sanna but I'm not super big on cardigans. any plans for a sanna top in the future?
I really like the Sanna cardigan. Especially the white one with the short sleeves. But I wanted to mention that I prefer when the shoulder isn´t dropped. I doesn´t suit me. I liked so many of your designs but if it´s dropped shoulder I skip it. Even though I´m an experienced knitter I don´t want to modify a lace pattern. So please do something with a regular shoulder in the future!🧶💕
I have a wrap cardigan planned for later in the year with set in sleeves!
@@the.creabea yeah! Great news!🤸
Hi Rebeca
I think there is a problem with chart B. When you do your second repeat the last row and the first row don’t coincide. The last row has 2 stitches before the chart repeat and 5 stitches after.
When you do the first row there is 1 stitch with a yarn over , where there are 2 stitches in that place, then the repeats start, this also makes the repeat not line up properly. At the end you have a SSK and 4 knit stitches which doesn’t correspond to the 5 stitches from the last row of the repeat.
After much figuring out I had to move my stitch markers over one stitch to the right to make the stitch pattern work out.
Hey, you can email the address on the front page of all of my patterns for pattern support.
Would be interesting to see Kip in Filcolana Pernilla. That's 175m per 50g, so should be comparable, but the spin is very different
Hi Rebecca, is there still a coupon code for your subscribers for the Tolsta tee? Thanks in advance x
Just purchased your pattern and love your Lunan and think it would be great for a man’s pattern.
I think so too! It's similarly shaped to Stick season and Lauder, both of which were tested for men.
Sorry Rebecca I just saw the note on moving the stitch marker.
Am at Eyemouth and it’s looking better today
We got a rain-filled afternoon but I'm hopeful for tomorrow!
Is there going to be a modification to that neckline as it's not sitting right. Is it a v with buttons that don't do up or a round neck with buttons that don't do up? I'm a cardi girl and love the lacework but it looks odd with buttons that can't meet in the middle. I don't want to start it until that has been modified to either do up or be a true v.
Hey, the buttons do do up, as I mentioned in the video, my white version has a higher neckline than the final version of the pattern does and it was modified during testing, but my white version neckline doesn't sit as well as the final pattern does.
@@the.creabea Thanks heaps. I watched it is a sarah and the problem she had with hers so i was a bit worried. thanks for the clarification.
How would that sanna do in a sport weight… maybe a bit cooler and open for a California summer?
Might see if anyone de the Sanna Cardigan in Linen? Could be nice 😊 will check out on Rav 👋
I know people knit the Corran in Linen!
I am so excited to knit the Sanna cardigan 😊 I just bought the pattern. One question if anyone can help me. How do I swatch in the lace pattern? Do I use motif A or motif B?
Either would be fine, as they should give you the same gauge. But you can always try 1 repeat of each with the garter ridge inbetween.
@@the.creabea thank you. I'm going to start right now!
Lovely cardi Think that was me walking down leith walk🤣
What about an evening tank 🤔
Pure Silk is calling!
Most definitely 😊
