man that is some beautiful videography and the landscape just looks amazing! enjoy the rest of your trip! thanks for sharing this great content with us! loved watching this!
I'm also finding that I am starting to zoom out when I do Wildlife photography. In all my favorit Shots the Wildlife is only in a small Part of the frame. I think this is a lot harder then to get a Portrait shot. I also try sometimes landscape photography but I feel the shots I am getting are more like snapshots. I realy liked your landscape pictures. And is another picture reviewing coming? I would realy like to see one.
Certainly pulling back with wildlife can lead to some really interesting images - with landscapes it’s much about how the elements of a scene compliment each other - it can’t be hard sometimes to find a balanced composition but as with wildlife photography it’s all about patience and persistence to find a good shot!
Thanks Paul, Much appreciated that you think that, if you fancy sharing it around and letting people know I'd be very appreciative - Lots of new stuff on route in the next few months, Any topics and videos you'd like to see? Cheers, Tom
@@TomMasonPhoto Topic wise I don't really have anything I would expect from you. Just do you. I really like the videos where you document your travels though. Such as this one. I would be interested in a video series in how to find specific animals such as the fox in a certain area. I've seen a fox near my home in the Forrest but I struggle to find where it lives or where I need to wait in order to capture it in its natural habitat. But that's only a quest I have and I am not sure if it is something other viewers or the public would be interested in. Exited for your future travels and the videos you will come up with. Have a good one Tom!
That Rain Forest shot is beautiful. I am thinking about getting into the Nikon system. I’ve seen on others of your videos that you’ve been testing the Z6, which one between the Z6 and the Z7 would you pick for still (landscapes, Street... photography). Thank you
Those are just standard Dunlop’s with a pair of inner soles inside! Makes a huge difference, personally UK side I’ll be grabbing a pair of much boots in the autumn for my work, good solid solution for when I’m in all kinds of muddy wet stuff
I probably won’t need to upgrade to the whistler 450 II , the Powder 500 AW I am interested in for some landscape work in the future where I will be hiking longer distances/ camping etc. Looks to be a good bag indeed
Love the boat (close to the colpa hide) on the panoramic view. I went to MLC twice and I really love this place. I could easily recognize most of locations you captured in your video. I wish I had the opportunity to learn from you while I was there. Wrong timing. Awesome work!
Thanks Pierre, Its truly amazing location and one I hope to be back at again in the near future. The landscape is stunning and the wildlife simply amazing. Sadly we didn't cross paths, maybe in the future! Cheers, Tom
Really lovely landscape images Tom! Particularly liked the panoramic one. Telephotos work so well for picking out the details. This whole trip looks like it was amazing!
The trip was truly amazing, an awesome experience and for me the landscape images are some of my favourites. There are a few others that top them - however you guys might not get to see them sadly till next year! ;)
Nice one Tom. Just discovered your work when I listened to a recent Togcast episode. Really enjoyed hearing your story. I'm a landscape photographer but your chat on Togcast has inspired me to subscribe to your channel. 👍
Glad you like the landscapes, it’s been a big area of focus for me of late, a growing passion in my photography is to capture the full environment. The rainforest can be a tricky one to capture he landscape of so I was pretty happy! Peru is a truly magic location and one I can’t wait to get back to in the future!
This is fantastic Tom! Inspiring stuff. Keep it up, and let me know if landscape and wildlife photography in Arctic Norway may interest you sometime!;)
I am using Nikkor af-p 70-300 mm with Nikon D5300 images are not clear (at higher shutter speed and lower ISO also)when zoomed in I am using Raw format only is there anything I can do sir, please help me sir
Are you sure the focus is good? Frontfocus or Backfocus can be a reason for not clear images. If you could provide a link to a photo, it might be easier to see what is happening...
I’ve always enjoyed wild environments so slowly I’ve wanted to move over to capture them as well as the wildlife in out photographing. I find landscape photography really enjoyable and as I work as a wildlife photographer I’m always looking to expand my skills and develop my shooting, cheers, Tom
i loved seeing this video. keep going 😊
Very nice images Tom Mason. The panoramic shot was amazing to say the least!
I do like the Pano myself, It looks awesome on my 27" iMac. cant wait to do a big print!

What are the rubber boots you're wearing? I need a pair that's comfortable enough to wear for a couple of miles.
Those are just standard Dunlop’s with a pair of inner soles inside! Makes a huge difference, personally UK side I’ll be grabbing a pair of much boots in the autumn for my work, good solid solution for when I’m in all kinds of muddy wet stuff
How do you feel about the new Lowepro Whistler ii bag? Think you’ll upgrade? What about the new Powder one too?

The pano turned out great Tom, good work.
Cheers Carl, I was very happy with the pano in the end, really shows the scale of the location, cheers, Tom
Tom, those landscape shots were immense! I went to the Peru rainforest in June, unfortunately I didn’t get anything close to them. I’d like to go back

Love Your videos, my only problems is the audio levels, need to adjust constant db levels.
Ray, I shall do my best to keep them more level, seems odd as on my Mac it seems fine, Ill look into it for future vids. Cheers, Tom
