As an Aussie, I can confirm that we do have a very good life. It's expensive as all heck, but otherwise it's amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Also I made that pesto pasta salad the other day and it was so fun seeing you guys use all the ingredients that I do from the supermarkets here. It was so nice seeing you both enjoying our beautiful country. You're welcome back any time!

Australia is an incredible country, I was blessed with living there for two years (employment )….The people, food, wild creatures…all of it was worth going…Happy that you two got to see a bit of that gorgeous country…Maybe when u celebrate your 5th anniversary or any for that matter…you can celebrate it there…So much too see…Life is worth living!! I so agree with you - our country is a beautiful hidden gem, and one that many locals don't even get to experience the sheer vastness of! Was so interesting to see you buying and trying out lots of recognisable grocery items (looked like you were at Coles?). Glad to also hear that you appreciate our coffee culture and general friendliness. Your 'naur' was spot on, haha! I have a family or 'mob' of grey kangaroos who frequently graze in front of my house. I think a lot of us Aussies forget that it's not so normal to have close interactions with wild nature on the daily. Hope you had a safe trip back home Xx

we have been building our van into a camper on a low budget together and are so in love with the freedom it gives us to just hop in for a weekend and go anywhere we want. It is just so amazing to be able to not be planning things all the time but to just go with it.

Thanks for sharing! This made me homesick to this wonderful country that is not even my home. I lived in Melbourne for a year as a student and travelled around in a campervan for about 4 months in total. Oh, how I miss the Aussie friendliness, helpfullness and inclusiveness! Moving back the the Netherlands was quite the confrontation. I loved Flinders Ranges National Park and Tasmania. Next on my list is the Gibb River Road and the Westcoast. By the way, walking around your campsite at night may give you some amazing wildlife encounters!

Oh my goodness you came to Australia, how exciting. I wish you had come to Victoria it's also very beautiful and the coast line is just magnificent. We call Australia the lucky country and it really is. I was born in Australia to immigrant parents and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm so glad you tried vegemite, it's not for everyone, but I love it. Even Aussies don't like it. What a lovely video, I smiled the whole way through it.
