From personal experience, as a homeowner, I’ve discovered 3 days isn’t enough. I cancelled one after 9 days. I was recovering from COVID and I had a bad feeling this person was a scammer after going over his company and how things were presented.

I signed a contingency agreement... Then, when I asked for more details found out the roofer (or at least the salesman) really didn't know how to deal with my brand new vinyl siding ($40,000 worth). Now, I'M having to get quotes on getting the vinyl siding R&R'd. How am I supposed to protect myself? I'm not trying to steal money. I'm trying to find a competent roofer.
So does that allow you to overcharge the insurance company?

The roofing sign contract with me and said " is null and void if the insurance does not give a fair amount of money for the roof." the question is that work for the home owner sign the contract with the roofer.

@@rudyguerra4619lol there’s no extra money. Everything is 1:1. If a insurance scope of work approval is $2 for a roof. 1$ is for ridge vent, the other $1 is for shingles. There’s no extra money

Guys knock the crap off about "does the roofing company get to keep all the insurance money if i sign?". Well no crap they do! Insurance is in buisiness of Making Money, so why on earth would they "over pay" for an insurance claim?. My advice is to give the contractor the checks, pay youre deductible, shut up and get out of the way!
