Lovely set of 7” singles. Don’t see that Girls & Boys often. I’m a huge fan of the Associates. Everyone owned ‘This Is Soul’ when I was a nipper, that & Motown Chartbusters Volume 3. Appreciate the shout out! You need to get back to the fair, it’s been distinctly average the last two months, just blokes selling bootlegs I’ve never seen that Black Sabbath? Thanks again Richard, hopefully see you in 2024! 😊

I’ve just watched a video by the vinyl hunters today the younger guy met up with a guy with over 30.000 records and cds .. Hi Rob, thanks for watching. I was given those 7" and a few others by a guy who refitted our bathroom recently - we were chatting about records cos he saw my stock and he said he had a bunch that were his fathers but he did not want them so he handed them to me!

I got into Uriah Heep in the mid '70's but did not have their first album so to pick it up recently was a great score - these UK first pressings on the Vertigo 'swirl' label play like a dream. Sparks are close to being my favourite 'band' and its great so see they have been receiving more recognition in recent years. Love the Maiden sleeves, as well as the vinyl of course! I will pop over to your vid shortly.
Much enjoyed this Richard, thank you. I also made an effort to collect the entire back catalogue of Sparks. I love to bust them out and spin them sometimes. I have never heard of Kinky Afro. Very cool. I still need Dehumanizer. That's been a tough one to find for me. Thanks again.

The Vinyl Hunters recent vid of the visit to the record shop in Highgate with the huge prices and Vertigo swirl section is the very shop that George Prior visited last month - check out his vid if you have not seen it. Apparently Jesus was airbrushed out from the Sgt Peppers cover - that could have been the opportunity for me to slide in. 😄
Succinctly done Richard. No meandering around the bush and steady selections. The buffet is a good idea with some booze as they'd probably need distracting from all the heavy drugs they did back then.......that Masa! cover was totally bizzare. Dad to think it probably wrecked their career not doing them any favours at all, We are such a fickle bunch. Here's to 2024 and many successful fun fairs. Harris I met in Reading fair he was as passionate and animated in real life as on video. There's in last couple of years a whi VC new cluster of you down there on the south coast. Maybe a meet up beckons?

Not sure their own families bought the album but, amazingly, someone has uploaded the entire album on UA-cam. A VC gathering would be a great idea, maybe at a future record fair. Could get at least 10 of us together - we could each video the meet-up. 😄

Bowie's guitar work on this was a little jarring - guess he wanted it that way and Visconti worked around it. Good though to hear you picked it up again. It's in my top 5 of Bowie albums.

I bought Diamond Dogs when it came out. I returned it. I did not like the production. Especially the guitars. I did buy it again in the late 70’s
