This album is truly amazing indeed. I'm trying to find further records by Echo&Bunnymen. Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment. This is really appreciated. Cheers,
Great vinyl tag, very cool group of records, Van Der'Graaf Generator, Genesis, David Bowie, awesome stuff, thanks for sharing. I mainly talk rock vinyl on my channel and post a few concert clips, thanks again for sharing the great music info, I hope you have a great 2024!
Awesome answers to this tag. I'd like to come to your dinner party. Moving Pictures does play like a Greatest Hits album! Thanks for mentioning my channel.
Thanks Brian! I mentioned your channel because you're a nice person with a cool channel who is been following and supporting mine since almost since the day 1 of my YT aventure, so thank you 😊
Romuald thank you so much for the shout out, its so nice to realise I made people laugh. That MGK video was great 'when the rock music came', wonderful. Great pick of the Fairports. I thought you would go with 70s. Love the singles, very interesting to see the French/Swiss pressings, yes cool, way cool. We have similar dinner parties planned I see. NB I dont have Thriller ; ) Tahiti looks great. Thanks again, top video Cheers 👍
Hi Stevie, you're welcome. Funny enough, I bought my OG of MJ's ''Thriller'' in a local store in the US only a few months ago. And yeah, Tahite is one of the nicest places on Earth I have ever been to. Costs now a fortune though..Thanks for watching and for leaving such a nice comment, i'm glad you enjoyed my entries. Greetings from Montréal,
Hi Romuald, great tag response. Nice start with Echo and the Bunnymen. Superb bunch of singles. Great interesting party guests. RIP David Crosby. A Frenchman picking England😂 Superb walk-in cover choice🎉🎉 regards Mike
Hey Mike, I see you have safely arrived at the French station. British artists/bands hold a very special place in my my heart as I grew up listening to the Beatles, The Kinks, Deep Purple and of course Led Zeppelin. As a young adult I was very into early-80s new wave/synth pop as I was a fan of Depeche Mode and liked bands such as Ultravox, OMD, The Smiths, The Cure and all projects/bands Vince Clarke was involved in. Then, after in my thirties, I became a hardcore fan of progressive music which has obviously introduced me to great names of the genre only Britain could created - such as Genesis, Yes, ELP, Soft Machine, Caravan, Camel, Greenslade, King Crimson, Gentle Giant and VdGG to name a few. On top of that, I recently discovered other - I would say - underrated British groups such as Family, Fairport Convention, The Strawbs, The Small Faces and the Jam !! whose contribution was very valuable. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to leave such a nice comment, this is much appreciated. Cheers,
Great albums! Love Joni. Really cool 7 inches! RIP David Crosby. That CSN album is incredibly good, one of my favourites too. You mentioned three great channels. The Number of the Beast! I don’t have it yet but I’ve been looking for the right copy for years. Run to the Hills is one of my favourites. Moving Pictures, yes! Really great tag.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed my entries. The NOTB copy I got is a OG Irish Pressing which sounds really good. But it's true, it is not easy to choose from the various re-releases which are now available. Cheers,
Hey Romuald, finally got to your tag response, really enjoyed it. I’m on the hunt for Echo albums, no luck yet but it’s just around the corner I just know it. Thanks so much for the kind shout out and words. Jason and I are going to meet up soon to do a crate dig. Haven’t seen a video from Jamie in a while, great channel. I just got Thriller in the collection I just bought. Your video favourites were spot on. Keep on in 2024 my friend.
Nice response to the Vinyl Tag. We share responses to band from Manchester, just different albums. See Emily Play on single is cool. I don't really collect singles, but that would be a quick pickup. I picked UK as well, but slowly picking up more French prog, Zeuhl, fusion, and grew up with a lot Jean-Michel Jarre. Late discoveries are PoiL and Ni. Tahiti sounds good. Cheers, Richard
Hi Richard, thanks for stopping by! I'm not really into French Prog Rock, even if I admit that my home country produced some great prog bands such as e.g., Gong, Magma and Ange (they sing in French). I'm a big fan of Machiavel's prog era, their two albums ''Jester'' and ''Mechanical Moonbeams'' are worth listening, they came from the French-speaking part of Belgium. And speaking of francophone region in Canada i.e., Québec (where i do live now) supplied quite a few great prog groups in the 70s i.e., Harmonium, Pollen, Morse Code, Opus 5 and Maneige...
Heaven Up Here is outstanding! I love some Fairport Convention but don't have any in my collection for whatever reason. Need to fix that. I have both Genesis albums you showed, and love them both. I don't collect 7" singles, but I do like seeing them. That Cream single you showed is pretty cool. R.I.P. David Crosby. I love Dreamboat Annie, and have that one as well on my shelves. "No rubbish, no bullshit" 😂 Thank you so much for the kind words on the video I did with my mum. She really enjoyed it, and when I visit again in the Springtime we'll likely do another one. I am in full agreement with you on Achtung Baby. It's great. Moving Pictures is a perfect example of a "greatest hits" record. Excellent tag response here! ✌
Hi Mike, I'm really glad you appreciated it. As i said under you video, I was very close to my grandmother who was of the same generation as you mum. Fairport Convention is indeed a very underrated late-60s Folk/Rock band, just like Roger Chapman's Family, and The Strawbs in my opinion. Thank you very much for leaving such a nice comment, i'm really glad you enjoyed my entries. Greetings from Montréal,
Wow, that Dreamboat Annie looks brand new! I'm going to have to listen again to Moving Pictures to see if I can appreciate the entire album as a whole. I've had my copy for almost 4 years now. - Red
Since the top corner of the album cover has been hole punched, i guess that record was once intended to be put in the dollar bin..though its condition is VG+. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers
Hi Romuald, I really enjoyed this. Cool to see Echo & The Bunnymen. You showed some really good and rare 45's especially the David Bowie one. The song was re-released in 1973 and became a big hit here in the UK so that period is when the photo was taken. A Happy New Year to you! - Richard
Hi Richard, thanks for that detailed explanation 😄. I'm glad you enjoyed my entries that gave a good place to several great bands from England. Happy New Year back, best wishes for 2024, Cheers, FVA
Photo was taken by French photographer Jean-Pierre Leloir at a press conference in Hotel George V, Paris, may 3 1973. You can find other nice pics from that day.
Nice picks. Specially those french/swiss 7"s. I have also some french ones, but usually my 80s collection 7"s are from Germany, because cheap postages.
Love your tag. Really great 45s you showed. Achtung Baby is a nice choice. My favourite U2 album. Moving Pictures certainly is a greatest hits album. Enjoyed the video. Cheers from Canada. -Jeff

I’m not sure how I didn’t know about your channel until this TAG video! I’m glad I found it though! You have a killer taste in music and that’s where we share some common ground! I love music from 50’s through 90’s! But my jam is 60-70’s Garage, Pop, Psych, Prog and Hard n Heavy stuff! Love that your fave band is Fairport Convention! I discovered them a couple years ago and continue to try and find their albums! Those 45’s were awesome especially that Bowie & Kinks! Great stuff! So glad you showed RUSH Moving Pictures! Man I haven’t played that in so long! Back in high school me and my friend used to rock out to RUSH! If you have a decent stereo their records just sound incredible at high volume! I remember hearing the track Witch Hunt for the first time and being absolutely blown away as me and my friend had smoked large quantities of Hippie Lettuce! LoL! Killer TAG vid Romauld I look forward to diving into your videos! Peace ✨✌️👽✨PS I am now a subscriber!

Hi Mike, you're welcome :-) I was very lucky to find this copy of See Emily Play (Swiss Pressing) in a record show back in the day when i was still living in Europe, plus i didn't pay too much for it. I could see that some of the other vc members had chosen either Oasis, Joy Division or The Hollies, so I wanted to be a bit outside the box in accordance with my prog beliefs ;-) Cheers

Connaissant tes goûts, dans la ''tendance'' hard-rock/métal, je te conseillerais la chaîne de Gary Of The Elysiums qui devrait mieux te correspondre je pense.
