    All of these QBs taken in the first 10 picks
    Is all Mahomes’ FAULT!!!😂😂😂
    He set this ridiculous standard and need for franchises to chase which they won’t by the way.
    We will be back here again next year with so many QBs getting picked in the first round
    All you QBs taken in the first round need to be thanking Pat for getting y’all paid.

      @@diskeyesbecause they have cousins and paying him to lead the team now at a high level plus training for the team in the future with penix. Let’s put it this way if you own a construction company and you think the best guy you can get that know his stuff can run your equipment at a high level and only may have 4 or 5 years left smart people or people with common sense would go hire a rookie and pay him good but not top dollar to learn how to run your company at the same level and learn and pack this guy with as much of this veterans knowledge as much as possible to make him better for the future of your team or your business you’re not going to let him retire then go out the next day and find a rookie

    • @calibergemini
      @calibergemini 11 днів тому +3

      i think you wanted to say Dumb move, but let me help you. Penix is going to be 24 shortly. He is not going to start right away, he is going to be sitting on a bench behind a QB who just got paid 180M for 4yrs (100M guaranteed). This means, that unless Cousins does a Rodgers of 2023, Penix will sit for at least 2 years. So Penix is not going to be playing in his prime years and will start only when he is going to be 26/27. He is not raw, he could have gone elsewhere where he will start right away. This is just a bad landing spot. A fairly mature rookie is going to be holding clipboard for 2years while a seasoned QB is going to be looking over his shoulder right from get go.
      If Falcons wanted him, they could have saved up the money and used it for their other needs.
      This is why it is a boneheaded move across the board!!
      But hey, what do I care- decisions like these is what got us Mitchell at 22, so you do you!

      Penix will end up being either the best or second best QB out of this draft class. He will have a better career than Williams and Drake Maye. Daniels may be the only QB that has a better career than him.

      @@Brando-UK This ain't even about if Penix is good or not. ( Which I think he is). This is about Atlanta paying Cousins this massive contract and then using an early first round draft pick on another quarterback. Lol. That's beyond insane. Use that pick to build around Kirk.
