They didn’t let me board the flight because they said I was too sick with food poisoning …which is why I was going to BKK for better healthcare… they tell me i can get refund….then they say i can exchange for another flight and notify them when I am ready to fly….then they say i cant exchange anymore but I can receive credits…then they say a cancellation fee will be applied ( even though I DIDNT CANCEL THEY DIDNT ALLOW ME ON THE PLANE) then they say my member ID doesn’t match with my name ….and I never got a refund ….the plane is dusty as hell….oh yeah and their weight scales are extremely suspect my bags have never been over 20KG now they are ….Keep in mind it took 6 days of emailing just for them to make excuses and deny my refund…I had insurance in thailand so I had to pay 6k hospital bills at an overpriced Cambodian Private Hospital …..Set me back so far financially and wasted my time ….DO NOT FLY AIR ASIA

I would like to give a positive feedback to AirAsia but not till today...that I have been experiencing their domestic flight reschedule for 4 times! This was rediculous, I have to separate with my other family members and friends whose under different booking number, and have to look after my elderly mother and 2 children all by myself. Well lesson learnt, do NOT book Airasia flight separately ESPECIALLY when going with a group.
Indeed, presume I am not the first case or the last one. Hopefully they can improve their punctuality in future instead of concern only about optimizing the flight and profit. Pity to the ground staff that have to explain all these last minute arrangements to frustrating passengers. And hope they can be more manner and friendly when handling them....

I booked two flights with airasia this year both cancelled. No response from the airline. The online support "Bo" is a joke that will send you round in circles. I would just like to speak to a human. In short I then booked with firefly and Malaysia Airlines with no problems.

I fly on AirAsia Malaysia frequently and have rarely had any problems with them. Flights almost always on time and often arriving ahead of schedule. Cabin crews have always been very professional and pleasant. If there is an area for improvement it would be check-in which can take quite a while sometimes.

I had to pay $500 for extra baggage even tho I paid it online beforehand. I showed them receipt and asked them to refund and they said refund process is completed. It happened in 2018 and I still didn't get my money back. Worst airline ever and I will never use it again.

No need to show vaccine papers (except for yellow feever if you have just been to a high risk country). Seats were ok but the legroom is very narrow. Food is decent but not free, you can pre order or purchase on board.
The only problem I've had with AirAsia was them insisting I had to have a ongoing flight when checking in on a flight from Haneda to Penang. So I bought an ongoing flight to Singapore (the cheapest option) which can and was renewed several times. Should have bought a flight to Ho Chi Minh City which I could have used on a visa run. This is stupid. You can't base it on 1 flight. Try 10 flights from varying locations but I will save you the review. They are horrible. You can be waiting to board and they delay the flight 4 hours. Meanwhile on their website, they are still selling tickets for the non delayed flight. Unreal.

Garuda Indonesia have several routes within Bali and South East Asia like Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, and then try to fly with Citilink domestically (because nowadays Citilink focusing on the domestic market). Citilink is a low cost carrier by Garuda Indonesia, and after a transformation plan within a decade, both of them have a good reputation about safety and services aspect in Indonesia aviation. So don't worry about this two airlines. (PS: Garuda is the most expensive ticket price in Indonesia). Or if you want to feel another experience, you can try Lion Air, they famous enough for Indonesian peoples because they quite often delayed behind schedule 😄 But Lion Air offer a good ticket price, and they have many choice of flight schedule and flight connectivity thanks to they are a biggest airlines group company in Indonesia (Lion Air, Batik Air, Wings Air, Super Air Jet), including Batik Air Malaysia (named Malindo before), and Thai Lion are under this big Lion Group Company.

Airasia will sell you flatbed ticket and change you to premium seat. I am not sure if it’s the strategy to sell the ticket. Because once you paid then it’s very hard to get the money back. Airasia will offer you the travel vouchers or credit to the account. It’s very very hard to get cash refund
And also airasia will inform you last minute. Then you can only accept what they give you. Even the sucks attitude. Airasia will not feel sorry even they write “sincerely apologies “ in the email.😅
I had to cancel my Air Asia flight to Thailand about two months ago due to sudden flight schedule changes. However, I still haven't received a refund. Every time I contact them, they only say they are reviewing it without taking any further action. I even asked them to connect me with their headquarters to expedite the process, but they ignored my request and continue to delay the refund. I'm uncertain if they genuinely intend to refund me for something that happened due to their unexpected schedule changes, which is NOT my fault at all.
That must me extremely frustrating. I hate it when customer service just acts as if it is the customers fault or even ignore them... I hope you will get your money back bro!

They delayed my flight and refused to do ANYTHING. I had to buy new tickets for my next flight and lost 1000 Euros.

Airasia will sell you flatbed ticket and change you to premium seat. I am not sure if it’s the strategy to sell the ticket. Because once you paid then it’s very hard to get the money back. Airasia will offer you the travel vouchers or credit to the account. It’s very very hard to get cash refund
And also airasia will inform you last minute. Then you can only accept what they give you. Even the sucks attitude. Airasia will not feel sorry even they write “sincerely apologies “ in the email.😅

I had to cancel my Air Asia flight to Thailand about two months ago due to sudden flight schedule changes. However, I still haven't received a refund. Every time I contact them, they only say they are reviewing it without taking any further action. I even asked them to connect me with their headquarters to expedite the process, but they ignored my request and continue to delay the refund. I'm uncertain if they genuinely intend to refund me for something that happened due to their unexpected schedule changes, which is NOT my fault at all.
That must me extremely frustrating. I hate it when customer service just acts as if it is the customers fault or even ignore them... I hope you will get your money back bro!
They never refund for whatever legitimate or sensible reason you have for canceling your bookings. Deafening silence on their part. No acknowledgment no nothing.

So "SAD" Story happened On the 8th July'23 that My Daughter bought Twenty Kg, PAID RM Hundred/- but When got Problem at KLIA Terminal Two, The Particular AIR ASIA Staffs Was Very very Poor "PR" Never bother Our Problem. At last We got to leave Our Twenty Kg Luggage at KLIA Terminal Two Eventhough We PAID, We Will Never never Forget this "SAD" Story Happen On 8thJuly'23 Morning that Our Flight to Bangkok Sawadykah🙃
