So dumb, this video gave me the idea for installing this in my Taco, forgot about it and ran into the same power issue with the 2023. Glad to return her to find the answer.
you blasted right through how to take off the gear shift knob and the ebrake housing lol. I need to run some radio ribbon cable from the pass seat to near the charger. Your video showed me enough on the process. Doesnt look too hard. Thx.

I have the stock charging pad in my Tacoma. I have a phone (with otter box case) that works on my home charging pad but not in my Tacoma.
It all depends on which otter box case you have. I have the commuter otterbox for my phone and my truck charges my phone
@@1234halperupdate: finally installed it. Always on, gets really hot, that blue light is very bright and blinks which is very distracting. Gonna go back to the Oem.

Few questions - Is this always on? Ive got the OEM one in my tacoma and can turn it on and off just charges really slow. Also how fast does it charge? - Also would you be willing to sell the bin you removed?
Yes it’s always on and charges very fast, and unfortunately won’t be able to sell the bin

Great! Charges very fast
to each his own, it was worth it to you, not criticizing but it takes 1 sec. to plug and 1 to unplug it would take years to recover the time it takes to install. plus I think if your phone is in a case it would not wirelessly charge anyways. good vid though
